In England we have these charity days where everyone does something to raise money for charity. There's live television broadcasts that say how much has been raised plus celebrity guest stars feature in them too to help raise money. It's quite a big thing in the UK and I was wondering if there was any big charity event in America or Canada where everyone know what it is and tries to help raise money because I used to think it might be a global thing but then realised it might not be...

I've always said it like sud-U-k-OH but everyone else says it the way its spelt :P Probably the sensible thing to do but I can't make myself say it like that now... does anyone else say sud-u-k-o??

I have three goldfish that live in filtered tank, two are just over a year old and the other is just under. I don't know if they are male or female but i wondered when in their lives will they start to lay eggs if they are female. Their tank really isn't big enough for more fish and if they are male and female I'm guessing they will start breeding soon. I don't wanna have to get rid of the eggs and kill a load of babies but I don't have the space, time or money to get a pond or bigger tank... What is my best option here?

I haven't sung for about 3 years properly with a tutor just every now and then casually. I want to start singing again but i sing for 10 seconds then start to lose my voice and find i can't hit any high notes... how can i get my voice back? and why did i lose it? :(

im finding it really hard to sleep at night. everything is like it has always been like, no extra noises or distractions to keep me awake but i still keep waking up in the middle of the night for no reason and then really early in the morning, before i'm meant to get up. i feel really tired and upset all the time. i have been doing yoga in the evening for a couple of days but can i do anything else to help me sleep better?? please help!!!

i would like to go husky racing some where for my birthday. i would like to go just with my one friend just going on a sledge pulled by husky dogs for an hour or something... :P i know it sounds stupid but i have found some places i can go but i was hoping for somewhere closer to berkshire...

i was spraying some of my cats toys with cat-nip to get her playing as she's overweight and after a while borown plant like sorta stuff started coming out... i opened it up completely and there was a load of it in the capnip! was it plant come out of the water or something..? i dont know how they make catnip! what happened to it?? i threw it away as it looked dodgy and i dont want my cat getting hurt... shall i clean thge things i sprayed? coz i kinda sprayed her giant scratching post too :/ and how can i stop this happening again?

(btw theres loadsa question marks because it kept saying the question wasnt long enough :L)

i like my hair when it goes fluffy and volumed and smooth and shiney and in a kept shape but for like a week it keeps going horrible and greasy and flat.. :( how do i keep it looking nice and can i do this using cheaper shampoo? thanks

i tried looking at websites but they all said the same, 'you bite your nails when you are in stress' and 'protect one nail at a time and then move onto the next one' but i cant seem to do the nail protecting thing :( i really want to get out of this horrid habit! is there anything new i can try like hypnosis or something?? :S please help!

my cat is really well treated, and i think too well treated. she gets up on the table at dinner times and when we tell her to get back down, she goes back up again and in the end we leave it, she eats constantly, and is treated like a princess. I know some things you cant stop a cat from doing, but i wanted to try and start training her better today so she behaves better and we are incharge of her not her incharge of us.

When i was feeding her at her bowl in the kitchen she kept trying to eat while i fed put the food in the bowl so i kept pushing her back, telling her to wait and in the end i got fed up and locked her out the kitchen and made her wait for 20 mins before she ate. Then i let her back into the kitchen to wait for the food but climbed on the work surface to eat the food up there. i kept putting her back down again but she didnt stop getting up so i locked her out of the house for 10 mins. I thought i was inforcing rules but when my mum came in she told me i was being mean and was a bad owner and i shouldn't get a cat when i move out! :( i love cats and i hate that thought!

Was what i did unacceptable and is there any better ways of training a cat???

i have a nitendo ds lite white and i really like the look of the game pilotwings resort for nintendo 3ds but i dont have a 3ds so i wondered if i could buy the game and use it on my ds lite? :/ coz the game looks like something i'd really like :(

like cats, dogs, rabbits, budgies, hamsters etc.

i really in the mood for cooking something sweet like cake or cookies but we have barely any ingredients in. a few eggs, flour sugar and butter makes cake i know but is there anything else i can do thats not that simple?
