How would you describe in simple language the heat dissipation cause by electron-phonon interference?
For a conductor of electricity at room temperature, almost all the "resistance" is due to interference between electron waves and phonons interfering due to incoherent thermal agitation of ions. in a simple language as possible, explain how this interference causes heat to dissipate in a simple wire resistor.
Thanks.

When you use "Print to File" in firefox, it creates a file with no extension. What type of file is created. I have tried opening it with tools designed to open:

Every time I get an error.

HI Everyone,
I'm looking for as many examples as possible of a Genitive being used as an ablative of separation in the New Testament. [Note, only examples without the prepositions count.] You can just quote the verse if you wish.
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMode of heat transfer?
I am trying to settle an argument. I would appreciate it if anyone with an advanced degree indicate this in their answer. Think of this as a poll question...please answer even if someone already has given your answer [especially if you are a teacher or someone with an advanced degree in science.]
Here is the question:
A hot coal jumps from a fire pit, landing on a metal rubber mat. Clearly heat was transferred from the fire pit to the mat in this scenario.
Which type of heat transfer method [conduction, convection, radiation] was the predominant method in this situation?
I think the answer is obvious...but I'd like some confirmation.
