Cowardly? Sky diving without a chute is brave but at least you have an idea of the possible outcomes. In the next life no one knows what it will be like. No one!
A sin? If your life is agonizing, as most people's will become sooner or later, why hold onto the agony (as long as you can)? Why noy release yourself to the next possibility ASAP?
