  • Why can't astronauts takes photos of stars?

If we look up in the sky, we see stars. If we look through a telescope, we see stars. The Hubble Telescope has no problem finding stars, Why is it that that not one photograph (that I've ever seen) taken in space by astronauts show us a star? There's always plenty of black background, but there isn't one star.

  • Do scientists know what happens to things that fall into a black hole?

What happens to stuff that falls in a black hole? Is this something scientists have figured out yet? And if they have, do you know the answer?

  • Is God Perfect? What do you think?

God created the angels, and some of them rebelled against Him. If He was perfect, wouldn't he have made the perfect creation?

When the angels didn't work out, He created men. Well, a man. Why would he only create one and not a whole bunch, like he did with the angels? Maybe because he wanted to see if this time, it would work out well. And why didn't he give Adam free reign of the earth? Why did he confine Adam to the garden of Eden? Again, maybe it was because he wanted to test Adam out first - thus leaving two trees in his midst that he was told not to eat from.

  • Water, Water everywhere?

My washing machine and my dishwasher fill up with water when I'm not using them. I shut off the power to them, and they still fill up with water. Does anyone have any idea why?

I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I'm not tied to city water. I have a well and septic tank system.

  • If Dorrance wants to publish your book?

Just an FYI. Dorrance publishing is a vanity publisher. They will publish anybody as long as you are willing to pay them thousands of dollars.

Legitimate publishers do not charge you to publish your book.

    They pay you.

Dorrance will publish your book, but it will never be found in a book store or library and you will have to sell them all yourself.

Look at the publisher's names on the books you like to read. Those are the publishers you want to send your manuscripts to.

  • Who lives and who dies, and who keeps their integrity?

You have two choices. I can either kill you, or you can kill the guy next to you. If I kill you, the other guy lives. If you kill him, you live.

The other guy, who has 'integrity' tells you to save yourself.

But you have integrity, too, and that integrity tells you to let me kill you so the other guy lives.

Do you save the other guy, forcing him to lose his integrity (not even sure if integrity is the right word here)

Or do you save yourself, preserving his integrity and your own life? (Of course, you'll live the rest of your life knowing the other guy died because of you. Or maybe you won't.)

  • HP laptop problem. Battery, plug, or something else?

My daughter has an HP laptop which she's had for about a year. Lately, when she plugged it in, it would say it was charging, but then the battery would die almost immediately. She bought a new plug for it and it worked fine for a few months, and now its happening again.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be. She was told it was the motherboard by the geniuses at best buy and they wanted $300 to fix it. I'm thinking if a new plug fixed the problem for a while, wouldn't it have something to do with the plug or the battery?

Anyway, I paid cash for it when I bought it and I don't have the receipt or the warrnty info.

Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue might be? How long do laptop batteries last?

Thanks for any help you can give.

  • Is Abortion Murder & Why Is It Okay?

Sesame Street taught me that if it eats and it grows, it's alive.

A fetus eats and grows, so therefore, it's alive.

In second grade, I learned cows have baby cows, pigs have baby pigs and people have baby people.

Therefore, a 'fetus' is not only a person, it's a living person.

So is abortion murder, and if it is, why is it okay?

  • I384-what main religion was practiced in Hanover, Germany? What was expected of its followers at that time?

Were they Protestants, Catholics? Did they attend church? What was a church service like? Would it be scandalous for someone not to go or believe? Websites with this info would be welcome along with your answers. Thanks.
