Should England declare at tea-time today?
The way things are going, and the weather forecast for tomorrow, the third test is heading for a draw. If England want to force a victory, declaring now is better. Bowler friendly conditions, and at the Aussies whilst they will be attacking the ball, is better than waiting for tomorrow when they can just block if they want.
What are your thoughts? Isn't it better to try to force a victory, rather than take the conservative choice. It's probably not what Ponting would be expecting.
3 AnswersCricket1 decade agoAre you ever tempted to buy a tin of yellow paint ...?
... and paint little lines around *all* of the pot-holes in the road, so they will all be filled in? Rather than having 3 men turn up, fill the one hole that is designated, leaving behind half a dozen others that they will come back to fill a week later.
I admit that it annoys me. They fill one pothole even though there are others almost as bad a few feet away. Then clear off, only to come back later when the others get deeper. If they filled them all, then others wouldn't happen. Potholes create potholes. Just fill them all(!)
10 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoHow does Ken Barlow do it?
...that little sparkle just came into his eyes - and I've a feeling he's off again. Will Tracey be screaming "Wendy Crozier" all over again (from behind bars of course!)
What is his magic?
15 AnswersSoap Operas1 decade agoWhat things are easier done than said?
It's often said "that's easier said than done", which is typically true. But what things are easier done than said?
Off the top of my head, I can think of 'procrastinate' and 'nothing'. Any more?
Thank you for your time.

6 AnswersGolf1 decade agoWho thinks Murray has stepped up a level in his match against Nadal?
The second set seemed to be Murray at his best, and even if he loses tonight, he seems to be on a par with the world number 1.
Do you think Murray is now capable of taking an open title?
3 AnswersTennis1 decade agoWas the gratuitous Dev "leg shot" necessary?
... what with 'Gail' and 'boob tube' in the same sentence, and Dev barely covered by a sheet, should ITV be issuing warnings regarding taste and decency?
Shudder.

21 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoAre the churches near to you kept unlocked?
I can remember that all churches used to be open 24/7 when I was growing up. But vandalism and theft caused them to be locked when not 'in use'.
Do the churches near to you get locked? Are you bothered, or just, so what?
