2 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agopregnant with twins-36 weeks- doc wants induced 38 wks?
I would like to know if anyone experience being induced early or at full term without initially having any labor signs yet. I'm wondering if my twins will know that they are being forced to come out? Will they know and push to come out? Or will I likely end up with c-section? I do not want to have c-section and am wondering if being induced will cause my kids to naturally push to come out or how will they know?
My condition right now is no complications. I have had 3 previous singles that went to 40 weeks, no c-section or epidural. My water either broke or I had labor contractions before I went to the hospital for my first 3 singles. For the twin pregnancy, They just want me induced because they say that 38 wks is full term for twins. What is others experiences on being induced early or at full term without any signs of contraction from the baby.
6 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agotwins and vaginal delivery ?
my twins are 34 weeks now, baby A head down and baby B transverse. Seems like every visit I feel aweful and worried because my doctor seems to be talking to much about wanting me to decide whether I want c-section, or epidural. I told her I don't want either, its not that i'm crazy, but I have had 3 single deliveries and they were all vaginal without epidural or c-section and full term (one or two days apart from ultrasound due date). I'm thinking these identical twins would be the same since I am at 34 weeks and they have not showed any signs of early labor yet. They are also growing well, 8% difference. The problem is my doctor seems to be getting impatient since I can't give her a final answere for needing epidural (vaginal delivery) or c-section. I told her i want none and will take anesthesia if there is an emergency, but she doesnt seem to like that idea. Am I being too stubborn. Has anyone out there delivered without epidural and c-section for twins? Any twin moms have comments? Also anyone delivered with identical twins? Do they come out one right after the other since they are in the same placenta?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agohomeowners insurance and 25year old roof?
I have a very old roof, I did not ask the previous owner how old, but I think it was the roof from when this house was built in 1980 or 1982. Well, we had a few high winds this year and lost a lot of cedar shakes as well as some minor siding damage. The painting also is peeled from the rain and winds.
However my insurance investigated and said because my roof was already old, that they were not going to replace my roof or repair it because it was a normal wear and tear, but I believe the roof was damaged by high winds even though it is old. We have taken care of it because it does not have leaks, but just lots of missing shingles.
Can anyone advise if the homeowners shoudl be responsible since they insured us for maybe 2 years or 2 1/2 years. Why did they insure us if they knew that they would not cover any damage to our old roof. Also, i believe my roof is the most important structure of the house since it protects everything so what's the point of having homeowner's insura

2 AnswersToys1 decade agoHelp- Sprinkler System: maybe just a simple solution?
I have a problem with my sprinkler system. When I turn on the water sprinkler it does not have enough pressure and it would only come out of the sprinklers like a boiling pot of water on the stove.....If the problem is something deep, then do I need to dig the pipes and find out, or is there some kind of way I can check without digging up the pipes. We just had a one week of snow in february or late january so I don't know if that could have caused a problem???? The water is coming out really slow and it is not squirting out like it should.....Also I did by new valves for them and it still did not solve the problem.
