How do you solve this eq. for x?
y = x - 1/x
i.e., I need to find the inverse of the function f(x) = x - 1/x.
I look forward to solutions that use complex variables. I already know the answer, I just don't know what steps to take. Thank you.
2 AnswersMathematics10 years agoIs this grammar all right?
The sentence reads:
"This world has a way of making a man anxious; and, I, too, am older than I care to admit."
Is it acceptable that all these commas are here?
Or is it unacceptable to use "and" to join two clauses already separated by the semicolon?
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoHow can i keep all these pics organized?
I've been collecting pics from the internet for some time now and i have a huge mess. Anything under the sun, including the sun among other scientific interests, famous people, funny people, funny animals, things that are gross, weird, beautiful, amazing, abstract; paintings, drawings, photographs, scans from old magazines, you name it. Should I just dump everything in one folder? I can't keep track anymore!
