He eats Miss Debbie's pinwheels for breakfast every morning, then complains how tired he is all day. I've begged him to stop eating that, but he says he needs sugar in the morning to raise his sugar level. Is this the way to manage diabetes? I'm going crazy here! He had nutritional classes and blows them off. Please advise what a diabetic should eat for breakfast, a light one because he doesn't like a big breakfast. He also doesn't eat veggies and salads except rarely! I'm so tired of being the heavy here!

We're both married and don't plan to divorce, but I think he's still hurting over our breakup. He acts supportive, then acts immature and distant. It's odd for a grown man to act so unstable.

Recent mild elevation of insulin, with no history of high blood sugar. Long history of being unable to lose weight despite compliance with several different types of diets. Slow weight gain, fatigue....Nurse practiomer says it's "metabolic disorder" and suggests referral to Endocronologist for (Metformin?) prescription. My diet is already low carb. I'm open to advice and information.
