  • Why is my albino African frog lying on his back?

He is pretty much as old as they get, at nearly four. I thought he was dead, but when my husband went to get him from the tank, he found him still alive. It has been a week, we have turned him over at least four times, and he is still alive, but just keeps going to his back. Any ideas? The other two frogs are fine, although the one is staying close to the upside down one, and the other is staying hidden which is pretty much normal. I had recently added new plants and an algae cleaning fish. The fish is fine.

  • Why are my albino African frog's front feet turning black?

The frog was purchased as a tutti-frutti frog, which I didn't know at the time meant it had been dyed a pastel color in the egg. I had purchased a green one and an orange one. The green one, which is getting really big, is the one with the blackening on it's front feet. It is not really green anymore, now it is nearly white, which is it's natural color I guess. The orange one isn't as large, and has no problems that I can see. Does anyone know what is causing this? Can it be contagious to the other frog? These are little frogs, about 3 inches in length. Thanks.

  • Going to a political meet and greet, what do I do? ?

I've never been in this particular social situation before, and don't want to look silly. Do I go up and introduce myself, are there name tags? Do I ask questions about topics that interest me, or what? The group will include a senate, and a congress candidate, as well as several supreme court justice candidates for my state. Thanks for helping me not look like a goofball, I hope.

  • Does debt consolidation work?

I am seriously considering debt consolidation, really need to get out from under loads of late fees and the companies just keep raising the interest rates, and I can't see any other way out. Has anyone had experience with consolidating their debts? Good, bad, any opinion at all, will help. Thanks, peace.

  • Is my dog going through puberty?

My golden/lab mix is about a year old, and he's forgotten about being potty trained. He's peeing on all sorts of places in the house. I'm in the process of getting him neutered, getting the money actually, will that stop this nonsense?

  • Scholarships for children of disabled parent??

I have been disabled and on SSDI for several years. My son also receives a check, until he graduates next year. I have been told that there are grants, or scholarships for him for college, because of my disability. I haven't found anything on the SS website about it. Does anyone know about this, or where I can find the info? We will need all the financial help we can get for his tuition. Thanks!

  • .Golden retriever/yellow lab mix puppy driving me nuts!!?

He is about 7 months old, I took him in from another home where he was very spoiled. He is so stubborn and head strong! I have a 5 yr old mini schnauzer who I've had since she was about 4 months old. She learned so quickly, and the new one seems slow in contrast. He jumps up on me, no one else, he is partial to women, and only comes when he feels like it. I am at a loss as to how to train him. He will be getting fixed ASAP, I am hoping that might help. Any ideas on how to get his attention? He is sweet, but I am constantly having to be after him. Are big dogs so different from small ones? Thanks for any help, Susan

  • Any way to add an extention to a cable hookup to a computer?

My hookup for my cable to my computer is in the basement and comes up through the floor. We want to move the desk to the other side of the room, but the cord/cable isn't long enough. Is there any kind of thing to add to the length of it? Something that would attach to the computer and then the cable cord to make it about 3 to 4 feet longer? Thanks for any help, Susan

  • How do I find the number of the XM radio in my 2005 Scion?

I've gone to the XM site, and it says that my model, 2005 Xa has XM standard. My owners manual says to go to channel 000 to find the number, but I can't figure out how to get to channel 000. When I press the sat button nothing happens. Is it possible that there isn't an XM installed? It has the antenna on the top of the car, but maybe that doesn't matter? I already have XM that I had installed in my other vehicle, so I know how to start the service, but I need the number first. Thanks for any help!

  • When will this end??

My son, who is 16 going on 45, has taken on the persona of a miserable, anal retentive, old man. Actually he is acting much like my ex, who isn't his dad, so I don't know why he reminds me of him so much. I have a chronic illness and it is difficult for me to keep up with housework. I have had this illness since my son was 5, so he should be used to the was things are around here. He will decide to clean the place up, and then gets absolutely hateful to me. He has never been one to do chores, and if he just did stuff like normal kids do, the place would be fine. He just waits until he feels like it, and then POW, and I am absolutely fed up. DH works three jobs and he does more around here than my son. What can I do to snap him out of this rotten phase, I am ready to put him out with the trash!!

  • Need a financial person to get spending/earning plan in place?

Where do you go to find someone or something to organize your spending and earnings? I guess it would be sort of like a budget, but I think we need a strong idea to keep us on the right track. I am on SSI and DH works 3 jobs and we are still struggling, because we like to buy things and spend money before we have it. I know we need to stop doing that, but what else can we do to get organized and pay off our credit cards, and our mortgage, and still have money for monthly bills and living expenses? Is there a kind of person who helps you figure that kind of thing out, like a money manager or something?

  • Should I buy a 2005 Scion XA?

It seems like a great car, good mileage, looks cute, fun to drive. It has 52000 miles on it, and the dealer wants 11000 for it. Any thoughts?

  • Have any of you women had a croning?

My circle is planning a croning ceremony for me, and I am really excited. Has anyone had theirs, and if so, what was it like? Did you take on another name? Do you have any advice about how to prepare myself? Thanks and BB.

  • Where in Toronto is a fun cheap antique store?

I will be there next weekend and would love to go to some quirky antique stores, nothing too pricy or up scale, more like a flea market.

  • Why is my cat's footpad swollen?

My polydactyl kittie went missing for several days. When he came back, he was limping badly. There are no broken bones, or open wounds, just a swollen footpad. He doesn't complain when it is touched, but that seems to be why he is limping. Any ideas about what it is, and what I can do for it. Going to the vet is a last resort, due to extreme financial problems right now.
