I had my right hip replaced in 1995 when I was 23 years old. It is a uncemented total replacement. I have severe Arthritis (Stilles Disease) that has been the cause of my left hip being replaced (2002), right shoulder (2000)-revised in 2009, left shoulder (2004)-revised twice in 2011, and both of my wrists have been fused with a stainless steel plate. I am fairly active and at 5'10 I weigh 180lbs.

Does anyone have a estimate on how long a hip replacement using 1995 technology will last? As its been 16 years I am starting to get worried. I have recently had some pain spikes in the hip area but am not sure it's from the hip itself. As a MRI Scan is out of the question and XRays produce too much scatter it is hard to "see" what's going on. Does anyone have any experience that might help me? TIA

I have a 6 year old Beagle who is overweight. She is on low calorie food (prescription) and we walk at least a mile 4 or more days a week. I keep her treat intake very low. For some

reason she is still overweight. Is there some

way I can help her lose weight? I'm worried about her longterm health.

I don't bars or clubs and I am generally pretty shy. I am not a serial murderer or anything. I am just a ordinary person looking to meet someon. I don't want to waste my money but if there is a reasonable chance that one of these sites will work I want to try.

Nearly EVERY answer I see that has a source that is listed as Wikipedia. People don't even try to think anymore. When they see a question they just go to Wikipedia and copy the answer then paste it to the answer box. I have even seen t used as a source for college term papers. Thankfully the professor did not allow it because it is not a valid research source.

People are increasingly using Wikipedia as a factual source for term paper.book reports and even Yahoo Answers. Too many people either through ignorance or malice input imformation that has been proven to be false. Why do people continue to think this is a legitimate resource for factual work?
