  • How do I get past my girlfriend's passing?

My girlfriend died about a month ago and I am a wreck. We were going to move in together later this week, get married next year, and have children shortly after. I love her so very much, and I wish I could take her place.

  • Why does my ex-girlfriend still sit with me at break and text me everyday since I broke up with her?

I broke up with my ex on Friday, because she keeps blowing me off when we're supposed to do something together and we haven't done anything together in a month so I broke up with her. I told her obviously you don't respect me and obviously you don't want to do anything with me so I'm done. Her response was I jave yo go to the office so she took off real quick. We work together, and on that same day she sat with me at break and texted me Hey and You busy, then texted me last night after I was in bed asking if I'm sleeping. Friday after work I flat out asked her when did she decide that she just wanted to be friends, and she said she never decided that she just wanted to be friends. I'm confused, what is she likely thinking?

  • What to do with the girl I'm dating? She's afraid of getting hurt, but also tells me I'm too good to be true.?

I've been dating this girl for little over a month now and we always have a good time together. What I've noticed is that she doesn't like to communicate with me after she knows she's done something that would disappoint me. This behavior is self imposed, I don't get mad at her, but I want to know what happened, for example when she stood me up. She smokes, I don't, but I have yet to see her smoke, she doesn't feel comfortable smoking in front of me. Again I don't put her down because of it, I just tell her she'll quit whenever she's ready, I don't pressure her to stop. I am loving, understandingand patient. I don't think she's been with a man like me before, so she doesn't know how to act with me. I'm patient enough to give her time, if that's all she needs. If I need to do more, I'd love to know what that is because I really care about her.

  • I'm confused, is the girl I'm dating pulling away from me or is she just simply not very mindful?

The girl I'm dating, I work with and she works the weekend shift. I work with her on Monday's and Friday's. We started dating 3 weeks ago, but we have covered a lot of ground in that short time. Just as recent as yesterday, we were talking about when next year we should get married. We've talked about having kids together. We sit together at our breaks at work. We really hit it off, and she says we have a good vibe. I'm very punctual, if I say I'm going to do something I do it, with her it seems like she doesn't care. I text her at my break times at work when she's not working, but she doesn't when she's at work. I asked her yesterday if she wanted me to meet her after work and go do something and she said she'd let me know, but not a text or phone call. I called her when she was on her last break and I left a message, still no response and she's been out of work for close to an hour now.

  • When should I break contact with other girls I'm dating/talking to?

I'm fairly new to dating after being either in a relationship or married for the last 20 years, so I don't really know the etiquette of when to of if I should cut ties wih the other girls when there's one that I really want to be with. We're taking it slow as we both want to be cautious as we both have been hurt in our previous relationships, but we seem to be off to a good start and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize what we are building.

  • Ladies, what is my ex really thinking because I would really like to know.?

My now 48 year old ex-girlfriend left me to go back to her 60 year old ex or I guess now current boyfriend for a third time, after I had a falling out with her 26 year old daughter that was staying with us in my house, and I wanted her to leave. They all, including the 8 year old grandson went to stay with him. The daughter wasn't always following the rules, and she brought too much drama. Then the day after I had the run in with the daughter, I discovered my now ex-girlfriend had been messaging the 60 year old ex, telling him about our business, asking if the rooms were ready yet, telling each other how they missed each other and how they love each other. When I busted her about it, she downplayed it saying she was just telling him that to get what she wanted and that is to have her daughter and grandson have a place to stay. The day after I busted her, she texted me saying she fell out of love with me because I didn't make her feel loved. How that is, I don't know, I told her everyday, and I would show her from time to time by thanking her for all she does and hugging her. Maybe I could have done more, but by no means did I neglect her. I think she said this because she didn't want to be accountable for her communication with her ex. Now the daughter is getting her own apartment, but my ex is staying with her 60 year old ex/current boyfriend. Why can't she come back and work it out with me? We seemed to be doing just fine til 5 months ago when her daughter moved in.

  • How long before my ex and her boyfriend breakup for a 3rd time?

My now ex girlfriend left me, mostly because her 26 year old daughter which was staying with us, had a falling out. They, and the 8 year old grandson, which was also staying with us, went to go stay with her ex. I discovered in this time frame that she had been talking to him about our problems and they both were saying via facebook I love you and I miss you. When I confronted her about it, she said she was just telling him what he wants to hear, so she could get her daughter and grandson to stay til they found their own place. I know they're back together again, and I feel it's more due to convenience than actually being so in love. If that were the case wouldn't she have left me for him before now? The daughter is getting her own place next month, but my ex is going to be staying with him still. I would like to try to work it out with her, that's why I'm asking this question.

  • How can I get my ex girlfriend back? This is a little complicated please ladies only answer.?

My 48 year old ex girlfriend left me after her 26 year old daughter and I had a falling out due to her not following house rules, quitting her job, and bringing drama to my house. Day after our falling out, I discovered my girlfriend had been keeping in contact with her ex telling him about our problems, asking him if the rooms were ready, and telling each other I love you and I miss you. I confronted her about it and she said it was nothing and that she was just telling him what he wanted to hear so she could get her daughter and 8 year old grandson in there. I'm not positive but I think they all are staying with him. I don't think she loves him, cause if she did, she would have left me for him before now. I want my girlfriend back but not the irresponsible adult child. Ladies perspective how to go about doing this.

  • Was I in the right to kick out my girlfriend s 26 year old daughter out of my house?

My girlfriend s daughter came to stay with us 5 months ago because she was extremely depressed and wanted to kill herself. I let her come to my home, she had rules to follow and didn t always follow them. She had a job, but quit it because she didn t like how her superiors were talking to her, before she had another lined up. I tried telling her why she can t do that no matter how much she didn t like her bosses, she copped an attitude because she didn t like what I was telling her. Her 8 year old son was also staying with us and one night he was on the phone with the mom s boyfriend while mom was out, while he was supposed to be sleeping on a school night so I took the boys cell phone and gave the boyfriend a piece of my mind, and of course I was the bad guy for enforcing the rules. My girlfriend s daughter didn t always follow the rules, and when I d bring it to her attention she d always get attitude. I d tell my girlfriend when she wasn t following the rules and she d tell her daughter and she d still do what she wanted. I finally got fed up and kicked her out. In doing that, my girlfriend left me too. I m real sad about it, but why should I let a 26 year old grown woman do whatever she wants in my house where I m paying the bills?

  • My wife moved out over 2 months ago saying she needs her space to figure things out. I miss her, what should I do?

We've been married for 12 years now, she's 48 years old' I'm 40. We really don't fight a lot, probably because we work different shifts.

She's had a drinking problem for some time now but back in January, I discovered she was trying to buy vicodin from her 20 year old son, 13 pills $78. I confronted her about it she said she needed them for the pain in her arm. I told her if she's in pain go see the doctor. Well that Friday, she texted me on my way home from work saying she drank too much so she was going to stay the night with her "friend". Mind you she didn't tell me who her "friend" was or where her "friend" lived so I, like most men given this minimum amount of information, assumed she's out with another man.

i confronted her about her whereabouts the next day when she came home and she got defensive, saying she was being responsible by not drinking and driving, and I had to explain to her how I'm her husband, she needs to call me tell me where she is so I can pick her up if that's the case. She said she didn't think about that. So I brought up that incident, her drinking too much, and her buying drugs from her son and I kicked her out. She stayed at a hotel for the next 2 weeks before I asked her to come back home, so she did. My intent was for her to think about what she did and straighten up.

When she came back she said she no longer feels like this is her home, so she left a month later to go "find herself".

  • Wife wants space, she moved across town into an apartment complex, what should I do?

I kicked my wife out in January after discovering she was trying to buy vicodin from her 20 year old son and after she didn't come home on a Friday night because she said she drank too much at a friends house. When I kicked her out she stayed at a hotel for 2 weeks before I apologized for overreacting and I asked her to come back so she did. When she came back, she said it didn't feel like home to her anymore and she was already looking to get her own place. She enjoyed being by herself with nobody in her face and nobody judging her. When she came back I went through her coat pocket one night and I found a baggie of cyclobenzaprine which is a pain pill and a sandwich bag of Acetaminophen and hydrocodone which is a prescription level 2 narcotic. When I confronted her about it, she said they were for somebody else. I suggested counseling but she said ,"why, so they can tell me how f'd up I am". She admits to being an alcoholic.

She has said she loves me but she doesn't feel that she's in love with me. We rarely fight, she's 48 yrs old so I think some of this could be the change of life, but I am really concerned about her use of alcohol and likely drugs is messing up her thought process. I don't think she's cheating on me. She's been at her own place for a month now and the only contact we had was last weekend because our dog was ill and I wanted her with at the vet in case we had to put him asleep so I am trying to respect her need for space.

  • Question to Catholics, is it permisible to divorce spouse if she is an alcoholic andrefuses to stop?

I'm getting more involved at my church and I don't know all of God's laws yet and I'm looking for sound advice from people that do, but my wife always has to drink a lot at home and it disgusts me. She knows how I feel about it and what she tells me is that she's 43 years old and ain't nobody going to tell her what to do.

  • Does my landlord have to pay back my security deposit..........?

My landlord left a message on my phone yesterday telling me I was being evicted. The reason is not because I don't pay my rent on time and I am not even in violation of the lease. He just got pissed at me because I don't want the service people from a water removal place to be in our storage room unattended and I got into it a little bit with him about it. The reason I don't want Flood Pros in our storage area is they damaged some of our stuff from the first time they were here. We had a flood in our basement due to heavy rainfall, that's why they were here last month.

  • How can I get my stepson's lawyer off of my wife's and the child's father's custody case?

It has been brought our attention by our ex-lawyer that the child's lawyer and the fathers lawyer have been seen playing golf together. This is a conflict of interest. We are not rich that's why we don't have a lawyer anymore, and since we don't and the father does, the child's lawyer does everything he can to side with his golf buddy's client. This is wrong, and I'd appreciate any help I can get. The state is Illinois if that helps.

  • Is it acceptable for a child's attorney to condone child abuse?

A child's attorney told a parent in front of a courtroom, that a call should never have been made to DCFS to report child abuse in the stepmoms home. The call was made by the stepfather, because the child willingly told the stepdad when he was visiting moms home about an incident where the stepmom hit her own son with a stick in the leg, and left a mark that was still visible a week later. DCFS questioned the mom, son, and stepson at the dad and stepmoms home. The mom and son both said the mark happened during baseball, but the stepson said he didn't know what happened, even though he's the one that reported it to the stepdad when he visited at his moms. The case went unfounded because a child was afraid to speak against the stepmom at the dad and stepmoms home. Don't we raise our children to tell adults when something is wrong? Is it not an adults responsibility to report such an incident? If a child's attorney has a problem with this, he obviously does not care about the child.

  • Why does everbody think that Floyd Mayweather is such a great fighter.?

I mean the only big name he's "won "against was Oscar De La Hoya, well past his prime, and I'm not sure he deserved to get the decision there. In order for me to consider him the best pound for pound, he needs to win a fight against another fighter in their prime like Manny Pacquiao or Miguel Cotto.

  • Is anybody else sick of Patriot fans asking stupid questions about the Super Bowl ?

I'm not a Giants fan or anything but it's kind of disgusting that Patriot fans are so arrogant and full of themselves they have to ask questions like, "can the Patriots score 50-60 on the Giants", "is Tom Brady the greatest QB ever", and they ask questions like who's going to win the Super Bowl and when you don't say the Patriots, they give you a thumbs down on your answer. If they are so caught up in how "great" their team is then they shouldn't have to ask such dumb questions. I hope the Giants realize how much disrespect Patriot fans and probably their media have for them, and come out and play the game of their lives and show them that they belong in this game. I will laugh my a** off if the Giants win. I bet you won't hear a word from them bandwagon jumping morons.

  • Is going for a perfect 16-0 record worth putting your franchise QB in harms way ?

I know its unlikely that the Patriots will come away with any serious injury. But is a 16-0 record worth the posible risk and not comleting the season with a championship due to a major injury to your key players. It's not like they need to win the game. They already have homefield wrapped up. I wonder what those Patriot fans would think about this if the unthinkable were to happen. I'm a Packers fan and even thogh I hate the Chicago Bears, I think that the '85 Bears are the best team of all time, even though they didn't go undefeated like the '72 Dolphins.

  • Can my stepson's attorney collect judgement against my wife, even though she makes $10.00 a month payments?

My wife pays the boy's attorney $10.00 a month, because thats all she can really pay him. He got a judgement against her, and she got the papers from her employer. I want to know if he can garnish her wages, even though she is making an honest attempt to pay him, even if the amount is not to his liking.
