Confused about unlocked phones?
I keep reading everywhere that if you have a SIM card you can purchase an unlocked gsm phone, insert any SIM card and be up and running...which is cool because the phone I am using has a SIM card, the thing that confuses me, is that our service is through NEXTEL which in many posts that I have read online says Nextel doesn't use a SIM or has IDEN type phones. I don't like the phones from NEXTEL, they're bulky and ugly. So my question is how do I determine if my NEXTEL SIM card will work in a gsm phone without spending a boat load of money on a phone first? Anyone have any insight or advice on this matter? Thanks in advance for you answers!!
3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoFuneral Ettiquette?
I have a friend I've known since we are 12, I haven't seen her in almost 15 years, though we have kept in touch via email for the past year or so, and I recently found out her mother died of cancer and her showing is tomorrow night. Is it appropriate for me to show up at the showing even though I didn't know her mother? I really want to be there to support my friend and her family, but I wanted to get some opinions before hand about funeral ettiquette! Thanks in advance for your responses!

I just noticed today that my oil gauge needle started fluctuating. It's normal when I step on the accelerator but when I come to a complete stop it moves over to Low, and when I put it in park and it's idling its fine. Any idea what could be causing this?? Thanks in advance for any replies!
