I've recently gone back to college, having ditched my career in legal services in favor of a new career in Pharmacy. But now I'm questioning whether being a pharmacist is right for me. Maybe I should go to medical school instead! Or maybe I should be a Physician Assistant...or a Nurse Practitioner... or something else?! Anybody in a health care field, how did you decide which specialty was right for you?

We had Sol beer on a trip to Mexico, but can't find it in stores back home (Minneapolis, MN). We have seen bottle caps from Sol on the ground, though, so it's got to be available somewhere around here! Anybody know where I could buy it?

The upstairs of my house smells like rotten milk. But I can't think of any way that milk could have gotten upstairs (we don't have kids, and neither my husband nor I have brought milk upstairs). The smell is diffuse, and after you're up there for a minute or so, you don't notice it anymore, so it's impossible to track down to a specific location. But it's gotten stronger over the past couple of days. Is there anything else besides actual milk that could cause a rotten-milk smell??

So I'm editing this document, and noting my comments using the reviewing features in Word, specifically Track Changes and Commenting. When I add the comments, they say "Jane Doe 4/7/07 1:40PM" (okay so that's not my real name, but you get the picture). After I save the document, however, the comments say "Author 4/7/07 1:40PM". I've never had this happen before. What gives? I need the comment to have my name, so it's clear that I'm the one who made them. Anybody know why this is happening?

I'm borrowing a cane to use for walking while I recuperate from a badly sprained ankle. I'm gripping the curved handle of the cane so that the tip of the handle exits at the back of my hand. Is that correct, or should it be the other way around? Does it matter?

The staff on the whalewatching tour had this CD playing, and one of the songs had the lyrics "ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-Haleakala". The song totally cracked us up. Can't find it anywhere, though! Any hints for tracking it down?

My husband and I had wanted to take a Hawaiian vacation for our 5th wedding anniversary, but I sprained my ankle quite badly, and we're not going to be able to travel. How can I make a special "mini" Hawaiian/tropical celebration at home for our anniversary? We live in Minnesota. The only idea I have so far is to get some pineapple...obviously I'm going to need something else besides just that!

What is a good store to buy jazz CD's in the Twin Cities? We have tried the Electric Fetus, and it doesn't have the CD that we're looking for. (Yes, I know we could order online, but the CD is for a German friend who will be going home in a few days, so we don't have time to wait for shipping.)

I'm working on a calculus homework problem, and I'm stuck on an algebra piece that I should know how to solve but for some reason can't figure out. If I have my equation set equal to y^(-1/3), how do I solve for y?

I just registered for an introductory calculus class at the University of Minnesota. I have a 4-year college degree, but I haven't taken any math since I took calc in high school over 10 years ago, and I don't remember a thing. I'm not even sure how much algebra/trig/pre-calc are even floating around in my brain anymore. What is the best way to prepare myself for this class, so I'm not completely overwhelmed? The first class session is in three weeks.
