I am 21 years old and I was raised by a mother I have recently come to realize is a narcissist. I have lived my entire life in fear of her opinions of me and craving her approval. She is the type of woman who seems like the perfect mother to everyone, and acts as though she would do anything in the world for me....and then will throw it in my face later. She'll use the good she's done for me to guilt trip me and make me feel bad. We have a long history of a rocky relationship, but I've spent my life walking on eggshells around her.

Eight months ago I came to her and asked her advice on getting a business loan for myself to rent a room somewhere to offer my esthetic services (skin care and body waxing). She, being the flamboyant person that she is, came up with this big, elaborate plan to open up a Day Spa. She was going to get a business loan herself and start it with me as 50/50 partners. She wanted to be full serviced, with several employees. If you knew my mother, you would understand how easy it is to get caught up in her ideas. She doesn't take no for an answer. She told me she would take care of the finances and the books, and I would take care of the management, marketing and services. I was excited for this opportunity and agreed to do it with her. After we started planning she lost her job due to medical issues (she has a chronic fatigue issue). Because she lost it, she was unable to get a business loan. But they gave her her retirement savings and she made an irrational decision to take all of it out and spend it on opening this Day Spa. I had no idea where the finances were at, I just trusted her because she said she had it under control.

Six months down the road and I've been running this spa 14 hours a day, making absolutely no money because she didn't put enough in it to sustain itself. She only had enough for start up. We were sustaining for months but not making a profit. I would come home with maybe $15 in tips in one day, but every other dollar had to go back into the business. Then three weeks ago she tells me that she doesn't want the "stress" of it and due to her "medical conditions" she can't do it anymore. She "gave" it to me as a"christmas present" and allowed me to take over the spa. Yet she still expected me to pay her back $15,000 she put into it. After I got to looking at the finances, I realized we had no money left. We were going broke, and she was about to sign it all over to me...for me to deal with the financial burden. And run everything all by myself. Without even the help of a receptionist. I decided it was best for me to get out and live my life. We are now at the point of selling everything in the spa, getting out of our lease, and dissolving the business.

And now she's beginning to passive aggressively make me feel guilty. She keeps claiming "sure you lost 6-7 months of your life, but I lost $15,000". My father helped built walls and fix issues in the spa when we opened and now he's posting facebook statuses saying "I guess the spa is getting sold. I did everything everybody asked me but it's for nothing". They are so broke because they spent out and she is now without an income (so is he, because he is on disability). I feel completely helpless because everyone around me tells me I'm not wrong to get out and it was her fault for spending all of her money. But I still can't help but feel guilty for not making the spa successful and paying her back. Am I wrong in this or is my mom really crazy?

So multiple times I have had an experience of pain and, from that, gone into a state of feeling that I am going to pass out. I start to get nauseous, then my my hearing starts to fade and I can barely speak and I get this feeling that any minute I will fall over and pass out.

This has happened once while I was trying to change out my cartilage piercing - the more I tried sticking the earring through the more painful it became and it also started to bleed a little.

The second time came from when my friend was trying to get a muscle knot out for me...it was VERY painful and within minutes my body started to go into this state of shock.

Each time it comes on very fast and sudden, and there's nothing I can do to stop it. It goes within five minutes or so. But it's very scary.

Does anybody have any idea what this is or what is causing it?

So I downloaded Filezilla, put the files through, but they are NOT showing up on my homestead account under the online sitebuilder. I made my website using iweb on mac, and tried uploading the site to homestead using the ftp option on iweb but it keeps saying it can't connet to homestead. i'm so confused and have been working for HOURS on this. Is there something I'm missing? Can anybody give me a step by step to doing this?

Okay, weird, but every time I go to see a movie at the theater, I come out and my makeup it all messed up and my face looks terrible. I've actually heard one other person say that they've had the same problem. It's like it's something about the movie screen that really messes up my powder/foundation and blotches my face. Does this sound normal? Happen to anybody else? Does something cause this?

Or am I pretty much just weird? lol

Heyy I'm having some really major laptop problems....maybe someone computer savvy could help?

1. Photos. Okay so a while back I deleted a whole slew of pictures from my computer. And when I go to my folders and such they're all gone and everything is normal. But when I go to upload pictures to websites....such as photobucket, myspace, facebook, ect....they all show up! Like old old pictures I deleted a while ago. I deleted them from my recycle bin and everything. Yet some how I can still upload them onto a website. Why does this happen, and how do I make it stop?

2. For some odd reason, lately my computer has been acting really weird when I turn it on. It's like it starts up, makes all the running sounds, but the screen stays black....and after abuot 10 seconds, it shuts off and restarts. And it does this over and over and over again. I have to press the power button a few times to actually get it to start up. Any ideas?

I know these are two completely different questions. But whatever.

Any help would be appreciated!

So I've been listening to UnderOath for a while now...They were the first "Christian" band that I gave the time of day to. Now, all I listen to is Christian music. I was told that they were a secular band...and then all of the members converted when a new guy stepped in. But I'm not sure if that's the real story. Are they all really even Christians anyway....or is their selling CDs in the Family Christian Stores just a way to make more money and get more fans?

I bought the "love God, love others, love rock" shirt from a skillet concert. And I don't know the symbolism of the rose and the gun, if there is any. Does anybody happen to know why they are on there? Is it symbolic? or just decoration?

I just received a minolta xg1 film camera. I've never really worked with film (i started off my photography career with a digital and have been stuck on ever since) and I haven't any idea how it works. Is there a website or place that I could go to see a manual of some sort?

I came across the inner pilgrimage journal the other day and it had amazing questions that i would love to write on. simple things like sitting under a tree for an hour or two and writing about it. it was so interesting and i think it would be a great way to expand my imagination and write more. unfortuantly, i did not buy it. but i was wondering if there were any websites online where i could find a list of inner pilgrimage questions. something that wouldn't cost me anything =] i'm poor =P

I saw a sign on the Family Christian Store door the other day that said they were hiring and forgot to ask for an application. But I was wondering if anybody would happen to know their minimum working age. I'm assuming 18. 16 at the minimum. But I know there are jobs that will take you at 15, and i've still got 4 months to go until I'm 16. Anybody know?
