  • psp Eboot & psx to psp iso?

Just wondering how can i convert eboots to ISO format, so i can better use em in my 32gb card (faster loading, no hassle to store the cd:s...) (this can be managed by using SDHC adaptor)

I have many ps one (playstation I) games on my shelves, but my old console is collecting dust.

So i figured, that i can just use my PSP hand console to play them. This works by ripping the playstation 1 games as to iso to be used for the PSP, i know how to play the games as ISO:s, but how can i convert the PS1 to PSP iso format?

anybody having a tutorial on how to do this?

    ps1 convert to psp

    psp eboot to iso?

or possibly even ps1 to psp.iso?

  • Will aluminium wallet hinder RDIF signals similarly to tin/aluminium- foil?

I got a new wallet that is made out of aluminium.

I also heard that wrapping your RDIF credit card to aluminium foil, would prevent reading it from longer distances. There are several guys who has tested this on identity RDIF chips, stating that instead of 6 ft. it was only be able to be read from 2-6 inches.

Now, my question is this: Does my aluminium card limit the distance my visa debit card (equipped with RDIF for short distance identification and 30€ pinless payment option) be limited in similar way?

  • what is the difference between words sir and sire?

I know that origin of the word "Sire" comes from latin word meaning "senior", and was used to address somebody of the noble born or higher in rank or nobility. Being similar words to French mon(sire).

But what is the difference between Sire and Sir? Are you referring knights as Sir´s and royalty as sire?

Or is Sir just shorter version of Sire?

  • Fuel cell engine, destruction of water?

    I was wondering.

Basicly you feed electrolyser some water, and out comes hydrogen and oxygen. The chemical process releases electrons, which can be converted to power and heat. Now, it looses some of the electrons in the process, but can this process reverse itself in nature, eq. from power of the sun, and water rematerializes as h20?

Or are the hydrogen burnt and it then turns back to the water? (hydrogen combines to 2 oxygens, releases some heat) Lets say in thousand of years, when we fuel everything with hydrogen or rather 0-point energy, would this deplete our water reserves?

What happens to the water fed to the system, will it rematerialize, and where comes the power to separate hydrogen. Will this just consume water without it ever comming back?

  • Will this circuit work? recharging 9v battery from the USB?

    http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/581...

I am planning to make 12 led system, that is operated from 9v rechargable battery.

Will using 4.2 volt Nokia DC-11 portable battery charger or 5v. usb connection charge the used 9v battery. as you can see from the circuit, there is a diode controlling that the electricity wont flow from battery back to the usb, and switch preventing it from getting to LEDs, but do i need something more to the circuit? should i use 9v regulator in front of the leds? behind the switch.

Any suggestions? what do i need more to the circuit to make it work? aim is not to be have to replace the batteries, if you can use usb cable to charge em.

  • This really is not a troll, hear me out. women sizes and math.?

Ok, some might find this funny, but this is actual theory of mine relating to internet behaviour studies and age. Lets all try to be as mature bout this immature theory as possible please?

I have an theory, where age matters on what kind of woman shapes you prefer: younger you are, more you prefer the size of the breasts. Older you become, more you tend to look for the bottom of the woman, and overall shape.

hence, babies tend to rotate bigger breasts because they relate those to the food, i saw this in documentary of child Development, where there was 2 woman that was not related to the baby, baby tended to rotate to bigger breasts.

On teenage when you finally start to create sexuality, boys rather want bigger breasts than flatter chest.

I am now in my 30´s and i enjoy good bottoms and firmer breasts. So, here is the thing i have left to wonder, how would you actually proof this mathematically? So this theory would be easier to explain to others. Would it be simplest to explain with formula, where you state a=age, b=breasts & c= time spent where with c is increased, it lessens matter of the b.

Im lousy at math, but how would this be explained / proofed?

and again, no, this is not a troll, i really would like to see my hypothesis as a mathematical formula.

  • madman's ultimate sadistic question?

You are with your friends and find yourself bound to chains.

Next to you are 2 of your closest friends.

Madman gives you ultimatum: Choose your friends to die, or yourself in order to friends to live. you alone are in charge of this decision.

To me i would choose all of us to die, as it would be morally more correct, I would not choose at all, as to not to give into to the ultimatum and please the sick mind of the madman, thus i would not have to worry about myself being survivor nor my friends, but how would this be in moral sense, did i do the right thing?

  • What is the origin of the Idiom: "in the pigs eye"?

I heard an interesting idiom while watching star trek episode, where doctor states Spock´s logic is: "Well that´s fully logical... In the pig´s eye!" , meaning Spock was full of it and reversed the statement.

However, i wonder what made this idiom in the first place, what in the pigs eye makes you a liar, or falsify stating facts?

Or does it mean you would actually have to be a pig in order to believe the statement?

  • is it better to bake bread in dry or moist oven?

I am a beginner in baking a bread, but more than amateur in cooking.

I am wondering about baking techniques... On cakes there is a mentioning of using water in oven to bake items with more moist air, keeping em fluffier, but what about breads?

Would it be better to just use steady, constant, steady dry heat to bake bread... Or add a couple of cups in a lower tray to add moist to the air inside of the oven? Also, what would it make difference in baking in a mould vs. in the tray?

i understand baking in a mould would not benefit as much in humid baking, but if this would effect the crust being lighter, then there might be some benefit of first baking humid, then removing humidity and giving some roast to topping.

  • If air temperature is higher will water temperature be lower than air?

Ok, been wondering for a long time this.

Lets say you have a desert with 34 degrees celcius and you got a barrel of fresh water laying in a sun.

If its left on the sun for 12h, would its water temperatre be higher than the air temperature?

if not, would it eventually go past the air temp and boil?

  • Poll: How many of you use "ReadyBoost" function?

If you don't know this already, but you can actually use memory and flash cards as temporary memory on your computer. This is nifty little function, especially on older computers and laptops, where you don't have the memory modules any longer on reasonable prices.

However, would you rather use "cache" to make temporary memory, or use flash? State me the reasons, as flash card is superior on speed compared to USB2 (most card readers support only usb2)

Ok, to whom don't know this, cache is a temporary storage on your hard drive, which is used when memory module is full, its written there to be waiting until it can be passed for processor to be processed. Now, by using ReadyBoost, you can use the same method to write that data on USB or flash drive instead, difference is speed and encryption. By using external drive as memory, you get more bang for the buck, as its coded harder, it takes less space and you get 2x more memory out of same space. you can test it if you got memory stick or flash card and vista/win7. Just stick the memory in your computer and check its properties from my computers drive /left click /options. If readyboost states you can use the drive, it can be used to boost your computer. Most people wont use the laptops memory card reader at all, and it can be unnoticeable and unhindering way to boost it by just less than 20€

But what would you prefer to use as this temporary booster? (and why?)

    a. usb stick/usb hard drive

    b. flashcard(fastest)/sd card/memory stick drive (usually found from laptops)

and those who will mention, "yeah, but DIMM memory modules are faster", the thing here is that you got an older machinery and replacing the memory to faster and bigger one is not an option, as computer all ready has max memory it can handle.

  • What changes should i do to the bios to get more from memory?

I bought recently a new computer and it seems little sluggish, I know it is not a heating problem as heating is covered with CoolIT ECO short circuit closed water cooling system.

However, my system states that my memory is unpaired non ECC, but i think it is. So, under my bios, i should set couple of settings to make em go faster, but what settings?

The modules themselfs are with heatsink units by factory defaults to optimize performance, Theres 3 12 cm coolers on the case etch... Heat is not the thing here.

If theres somebody who knows how to do this, it appreceate.

Underneath ios a list of my components and setup of component, version of bios, models etch.
