I just started teaching myself how to play the guitar, using a guitar booklet that my brother uses in his class. I'm on G string notes right now (not very far...) and I don't understand something. Why are there notes written above the musical scale? What I'm trying to say is, what does it mean when, say, there is a letter G above the scale, when the note beneath it on the scale is, say, C? Beneath the song title it says Teacher Acc., so the book doesn't teach it. i'm just wondering if it means to play a chord or what?

Why do Dems always call out Republicans for "supporting the death penalty when they don't believe in abortion"? Hmm, that's interesting... because I can flip that around and ask the Dems why (you who support abortion, or are that hokey thing called "pro-choice") you guys support killing unborn children who never even had a CHANCE to live, while you do not support executing criminals, most of whom are being executed have commited murder?

I am a Republican and do not support abortion or the death penalty; however, it makes more sense to execute a dangerous criminal rather than a child who did nothing to deserve to die. I've come to the conclusion that the Democrats are all insane and backwards.
