What London hotels have FREE airport transportation to/from?
3 AnswersLondon6 years agoWhere should I get my TEFL certification from?
I have an MA in Human Services, a BS in Psychology and am over halfway through an MBA specializing in International Relations. I would like to become TEFL certified and go teach in Europe, but I don't know which organizations are the most reputable or what I should be looking for in an overall experience.
Big questions:
*Is my lack of an English degree a problem?
*What companies are the best to work with?
*Do I need prior teaching experience in order to get a job? A decent job?
Thank you in advance!
1 AnswerStudying Abroad6 years agoWhat is near the Reykjavik airport - food, entertainment etc?
Our flight delay has resulted in the likelihood of a day in the city, put in a hotel by the airport. What is within walking distance or a short taxi away? We will only have a few hours, so we'd like to try a traditional breakfast or see a memorable site - whatever does not take too long but makes the most of our situation.
1 AnswerOther - Europe7 years agoWhat hotels near Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Florida have swimming pools with slides?
I don't need directed to websites like Trip Advisor; I need specific hotels. 2-5 Star is fine.
1 AnswerOther - United States7 years agoHow do you write off payments for a business purchased via Goodwill or Purchase Agreement in 2013?
They are even, monthly installments made for the purchase of the company as a Goodwill purchase agreement, so it was not any "one" item per se, but the Goodwill associated with the name, products and equipments.
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance7 years agoWhat are the best ACH and/or credit card processing services?
It's easy to find ones that rip you off with service fees. I want to know of simple, flat rate services.
1 AnswerCredit8 years agoWhere and how do I find companies that provide insurance to franchisors?
It seems most providers do not want to be in the business of insuring franchisors. Franchisees, yes, but I am speaking of insurance for the actual Company/Franchisor - Umbrella, GL, etc.
1 AnswerInsurance8 years agoWhat clothing stores are good options for trendy curvy petite girls?
I'm not plus sized, but at not quite 5'1, finding trendy, flattering clothes is nearly impossible. "Regular" stores make everything for tall girls, so in accommodating my hips, everything else is too big/too long, and petite store assume you are either A) A size two or B) Old. I need cute, trendy, flattering clothes for the size 8-14 range. As someone who is an avid exerciser, it's maddening being so short and trying to find clothes for an otherwise fit, albeit it, compact body type.
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoCan you do any version of a poor man's copyright on a mechanical process?
Our company has developed methods for repair within our industry, and we are wanting to protect those methods from potential employees that may go out from us. We have non-competes, but still want to protect the process ASAP and thereafter pursue patenting. Can you do a poor man's copyright to protect the process? If not, is there ANY way to legally protect it before a patent?
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance10 years agoWhat is the John Wayne western film with the lead female role named Hannah?
I caught the very end of this movie on television, but they didn't re-list the title. All I could gather from the film is that it involved a bunch of men - I think some sort of militia - out in a sort of shanty/shack with this woman named Hannah. At the end of the film, he takes her bandana off her hair, telling her he's in love with her, but isn't going to hurt her anymore and leaves. All the men depart, but he doesn't return and the film ends. What is this movie?
3 AnswersMovies10 years agoIn a business plan seeking venture capital, should you comprehensively document competition?
As business owners, in writing our original business plan, we originally documented - heavily - the competition in our market, including location, some of their costs of business, methodology, etc. However, after compiling our plan we decided to go with professional, high-rated business plan writers to help our plan get that polished edge. In their re-working of the plan, they eliminated the vast majority of our competition section, instead choosing to focus on the general deficiencies in the market with a few references to our main competitor, though not naming names nor actually specifying them in particular, but instead noting as general principles of others in the industry.
Should explanation for competition be explained in meeting with an investor or should this be outlined from the get-go to bring the investor fully into the loop when initially reading the plan? We are trying to firmly establish the role the explanation of the competition should be in the plan, versus supporting documentation we need to have prepared and ready to share upon meeting the investor.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
2 AnswersInvesting1 decade agoWhere can I find examples of business plans seeking investors for venture capital and/or an angel investor?
As this business is seeking a sizable amount of funding to turn into a franchise-based operation, our plan looks somewhat different than a traditional one. For instance, projections are rather insignificant in that basing projections on current flow does not reflect how that would change if franchising is incorporated.
That being said, I would like to find some examples of business plans specifically utilizing expansion into franchising as their model, and as the reason for seeking funds.
Thank you.
2 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoWhen compiling the financials for a business/venture capital plan, are yearly diagrams appropriate?
I am working on a business plan seeking venture capital for a currently existing business. With regard to supplies, numbers may be unstable on a monthly basis, but referring to overall years provides a general picture that is quite complete. Would it be inappropriate to detail a business plan revealing a cost breakdown, showing yearly totals (IE: Payroll, Lease/Insurance, Supplies, etc.) or should I do a full monthly breakdown within each year?
My concern with a monthly breakdown is that many of our expenditures are not revolving; supplies may last two months, for instance. Payroll and lease/insurance could be detailed monthly, but finding a clear pattern with regard to other expenses may prove more difficult, whereas a yearly at-a-glance will show a fuller picture over the course of several years represented.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
1 AnswerSmall Business1 decade agoWhere can I get a REAL IP address tracker for myspace, even if I can't get exact reports?
I have seen trackers (for instance, one that was a little penguin) that told the visitor who their provider was and what their IP address was. I don't even care if, as the myspace page owner, I can see it or not. I just want it there to show page visitors.
1 AnswerMySpace1 decade agoWhat is a great up-to-date book on immigration to Australia from the U.S.?
I would like a comprehensive how to book that includes the types of immigration, cost estimations, time lines, etc. Cultural aspects are a bonus, but that is NOT my primary concern.
1 AnswerOther - Australia1 decade agoWhat size bike should I have? I am not quite 5'1?
I am a newbie to adult mountain biking, and recently bought an inexpensive adult bike with 26" tires. The size below that were the 24's, which were designated as for "youth" sizes. However, I cannot stand with the bike without leaning over considerably to reach the ground on one side, and feel like I'm jerking when I'm peddling, because I have to nearly straighten my legs to get a full cycle. I also think I might be sitting up a little too straight on it. I'm going to exchange it; what should I aim for? Keep directions simple, please!

3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhen migrating to Australia from the USA, what are the requirements of the health check?
Are they along the lines of ensuring vaccines are up to date and receiving a basic check-up from someone like an ENT doctor or are they more invasive, IE: Pelvic exams, etc.?
4 AnswersOther - Australia1 decade agoCan I keep records of employee insubordination in their files w/o a write up?
I would like to simply keep records of times when an employee refuses to complete a job, has a significant attitude problem, etc., but not necessarily provide a formal write up. I would make this available to them if needed; I just want a formal record, particularly in the event there is ever an unemployment claim and an employee had been dismissed/quit over reasons that were their own doing. I live in WA State (for legal reference).
3 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoWhat is a good diving school for beginners in Melbourne, VIC that teaches during the week days?
I am looking for a beginners class, (open water, etc.) that runs during the week, as I am taking a brief holiday to Melbourne and would love to learn to scuba dive while there. Something that lasts one or two days would be ideal; I'm not looking to become an expert - just want to explore this and have fun!
