If he was not born on December 25, what do we celebrate on December 25 in the name of Christmas? Why do we fool ourselves?

May be, Islam does not preach violence. All Muslims who post answers to such questions give answers from the Quran (which I have not read). If in spite of the Quran not preaching violence, Muslims are violent obviously they are preached violence from sources other than the Quran.

I read every now and then, postings by Muslims telling the rest of the world that Islam is a peace loving religion. They tell us that this is written in the holy Quran. There is no need telling us all that, because we don't follow that religion. They should be telling this to Osama Bin Laden. They should be telling this to the Taliban. They should be telling this to Hamas who have been firing missiles into Israel. They should be telling this to the perpetrators of the Mumbai carnage. They should be telling this to the perpetrators of 9/11.

They say Islam is progressive. They should not be saying this to us.They should tell this to those Pakistanis who are closing down Girls schools. They should be telling this to the guys who kill their daughters because they love some one. They should be telling this to the guys who kill their daughters because someone raped them.

The Congress was not bothered when all other manufacturing jobs moved to China. To the common American, a Ford job is as important as a toy manufacturing job. Both pay in dollars. Why should the Congress even bother about saving the auto industry if it did not bother when other manufacturing industry moved out of the country, or when the IT jobs went to India?

I got a ticket and when in the court, I was offered by the prosecutor to accept another charge with higher fine but no points on my license. I said I did not ignore any stop sign, he told me it is a matter of my word against the police officer's word; and that the judge will go by the word of the police officer. Everyone knows that police officers are given ticketing targets and they issue tickets to meet their targets. Why would the udge not accept the accused word. Remember the accused is not a professional at making up tickets.
