I forgot what network it was on, but the pilot was at a carnival or a fair, and some genie guy put a "curse" on them where every time somone snapped, the children would switch bodies with their parents. It took them the whole run of the show (no idea how long it ran) to track down the genie guy and get him to tell them that it happened when someone snapped. I cannot for the life of me remember the name...it might possibly have been on WB kids on Saturday mornings.

Where the members of Fight Club are out in public trying to start fights? It's kind of stupid and playful.

I saw this tutorial on PSDTuts, and I really want to use something like that effect on a design I'm making, but I don't know where I can get photos of paint splashes like that.

I'm just finishing up my sophomore year finals (high school), and I know I did pretty well on the tests, but I have pretty much straight Cs and Bs. I know I can gets mostly As, but I have no motivation - I could do really well if I did all my work, but I can seem to motivate myself to do anything. I procrastinate a lot, but I think I can definitely get over that if I was just motivated...what can I do/change for next year (or over the summer) to help me get through Junior year?

Other than going to a school guidance counselor, what's a good way to find colleges? I want to major in Graphic Design, hopefully in the NYC area if possible...is there some sort of college-google?

Stuff like Justice, MSTRKRFT, Midnight Juggernauts, etc. I have a recording studio for local bands with a couple mics, a computer and a PCI interface (4in/4out 1/4") I want to know what I need to start making this kind of music.

I just built a new computer, and need to move all my music (around 25GB) to it from my laptop. I do not want to burn 300+ cds. I just moved all the files to an external HDD and then to the computer, and that moved the songs, but not the ratings and playlists.

So I'm putting together my first custom rig, and I can't decide which distro to install. It will be dual booting with Vista Ultimate because I need Photoshop/Illustrator, and I don't like WINE.

I've been using Ubuntu for over a year. I love it, but I want to try something different. I've pretty much narrowed it down to:

Fedora

and OpenSUSE

but I'm open to any other suggestions...KDE/Gnome...doesn't matter...hell, I used Fluxbox for a couple months.

I need a system that is stable enough to not crash after general use for a day, extremely customizable, and it needs to be fast. It will be used for things like Web surfing, email, IM, music, and I'll be using compositing on it too.

I've been literally trying to decide for about 2 months, and just can't come to a conclusion.

I just bought a mini-dv camera. i do not have a dv port on my computer (laptop) but need the video. the only cable i could find is $120 (http://www.pixela-1.com/captycable), and i really dont want to spend that on copper coated with an insulator with a chip thrown in the middle.

I have both XP and Ubuntu Kubuntu installed on my system. I have the windows client installed on XP, but I use Kubuntu most of the time, and I would like to be able to listen to my music on my stereo on Linux.
