i am currently in the army reserve and was thinking about persuing police work as a career, im currently in my first year at college and was wondering if it would be better to major in police corrections while in school, or is there someway that being in the army qualifies me to be a policeman? what will happen after i graduate with a degree in corrections? how do i become a cop (in a rural area where i live)?

its over, the last votes arent counted, but they dont need to be. i voted for mccain like many people (not enough though lol) and felt quite bitterly towards obama.

now i just want all the republicans to deal with the problems of obama as they come along, and not complain about the results for days, this would only make the republican party look like sore losers, thats not what we need.

i just found out after talking with some people today, that when you get a change of address for voting you get a new voter registration form. as this was my first time with a change of address i wasnt expecting anything in the mail, but i also never got a new voter card, so as of now, i am in eligible to vote, am i correct? is there some way i can still vote with just ID? is there someplace you know where i can ream out some person in charge? i definitely did the paperwork and it was filled out in time, i live in Pa, and if i dont get a chance to vote i will be thoroughly angry.

according to a real clear politics poll (average of a bunch of other polling places) 97% of blacks plan to vote for obama, this is simple ridiculous. i live in philly and ive talked to some folks about it, and its true that the only reason these people were voting for obama was because of his race. im not saying all blacks are voting this way, as a minority they tened to vote dem already, but not by 97% it makes me sick to think that Pa will almost def go to obama due to the black vote. its the future of our country and many people veiw it as black or white. not to mention those who think of it as bush or not bush, but thats another story...

policies aside, ive watched the debates, and ive seen him live in philly. i usually can judge a persons character accuratly, and he just seems like hes just telling people lies to see what response he gets (always a good one.) like hes pushing to see how far he can go and since he knows he can never go to far, this puts him in a dangerous position to say whatever he wants. and no one is keeping him in check. heres something to think about. he claims he will lower taxes on 95% of americans. i want to know where he will get the money for all of his other great ideas when the government is receiving less money. its impossible. basically i just dont trust the guy, because of this i cant vote for him, which is a shame for me becuase that means i have to vote for mccain. and while i despise palin, it seems mccain is genuine alot more often then obama. anyone else feel the same way?

im 18 and i want to buy GM stock as soon as i can, hopefully within the next day or so. ive never owned stock before, and i have no idea how to go about it. so what is the easiest most efficient and cheapest way to buy stock?

one of my better friends was at a party friday night, she never drinks but this time she did, she got drunk. then this guy started coming onto her and she tried to make him stop but it made her pass out from trying. some of her friends found them before he had a chance to rape her, but shes devestaed. she cant trust herself, she hates herself. what does she need to hear to make this better? i tried to help her, and i think i did. but ladies, what would help her even more? what does she need to hear?

when my freinds have trouble in relationships or they need advice, im the guy who knows stuff, when my boys just cant get over a girl i tell them how. and tonight i find myself torn apart and all wrecked up inside because there is a girl so wonderful and amazing, and i can only hope and have faith that i will get to know her better. its not going good though, and so tonight i am pleading to all of you. Is there anything i can do to get a shy girls attention, to have it so she will talk to me? oh man, i need your help soo bad!
