I have learned that my Ex plans to remarry next month.....?
Anhd he is not planning to have his teenaged sons (who live with me) attend. I think it is very important for them to go, and they want to be there when he marries, but I don't even think he will tell us until it is a done deal. How should we deal with this?

10 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoIs he into me? (middle aged lovers)?
Met a guy on vacation 2+ years ago. We are in the 50ish range. We hit it off, and then went to our different homes. We live 1000 miles apart and he has consistently said that there can be nothing between us because of circumstances, etc. I have offered to fly to visit, but he has said no. Since a good part of this time he has been in employment (and unemployment) turmoil, I understand, though I don't really like it.
But what is confusing to me is that for large periods of times over the last two years, he has called me almost every day. we talk, at times for a half an hour or more.Even if he stops calling for a few weeks, he will crank up again and we are speaking daily or even more frequently.
He says that the phone calls don't mean anything other than that we are friends, but this seems a bit much for there not to be feeling there. What do you think.

written out on the license plates of the 50 states. My son has one that he has worn to shreds that I think came from the Smithsonian, but there are none on its website.

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow much should governments do to repair damage from disasters like katrina?
My thought is that people have a responsibility to take care of hteir own lives and stuff. While governments can and should help people in their immediate misery after a Katrina style disaster, at some point that help has to stop and people should take care of their own problems. Saying they can't afford to rebuild is not the answer. You make decisions about where and how to live, and must live with the consequenses of your actions.
