Hi, I just wanted some advice on where to meet new friends that are like minded. I recently dropped out of university and I've moved back home. I suffer from social anxiety which means I find it incredibly difficult to meet new people and everyone at university was totally extroverted.

I would love to meet other people my age (18 years old) who are similar to me but its so difficult. I have no idea how to meet people like that or where to meet them. Most people my age are at uni and if I join clubs or groups they are usually much older people. My job doesn't help as most people are older than me or not like me at all.

Does anyone have any idea of how to meet new young people or where to meet them?

During World War Two was British anti aircraft defence an effective form of defence? Was radar, barrage balloons, anti aircraft guns etc effective? And what role did the Observer Corps play?

This may seem naive. I know both the RAF and RN played an important part in the battle of Britain but what did the Royal Navy actually contribute to the battle apart from offering supplies and preventing Germany to use the channel in the first place? Surely this is just there prestige that prevented Germany from invading via the seas. What was their role?

I have had ten lessons now but that's 20 hours because they are two hour lessons. My instructor is not a bad instructor like people say that theirs swear and stuff but he doesn't. And we have covered most things just got parallel park and the bypass left to do. I feel like I am making no improvements in my clutch control and he is CONSTANTLY telling me to accelerate because I just don't do it. I get the sense that he is getting really impatient with me but he doesn't really shout or anything. It seems really stupid why I am thinking of changing but I just feel like he has high expectations and I am not meeting them....and he has taken me to two of the possible test centers already. I feel like he is for people who can really pick it up easily and I dread when I get things wrong but maybe that's just me. I have already cried in one of my lessons because he was sort of shouting at me to do stuff whilst we were driving and I couldn't but I think that's just because I had to do it. I just feel maybe I would be suited to another instructor and he works for a big company as well which feels like more pressure not sure why though. Am I being stupid or should I change?

Hello, i just got a viewsonic android tablet model VS14006. I wanted to download the free kindle app from googleplay store but it won't install. I then made a gmail account but it doesn't make any difference. It just says there is no device and when i check my files or downloads it isn't there. I have tried other apps from googleplay and they don't install. It works on my other android tablet A1CS fusion as I have many apps from googleplay on that tablet including the kindle app. Although the gmail account I used for the viewsonic is the same as the fusion one so I don't know if its sent my apps to the fusion one as that was the original tablet for that gmail account. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm wondering what to study at University next year. I was wondering if you could offer any help or advice on what I should do? I have always been interested in writing and my initial thought was to do Creative Writing but I really don't think it will lead to much of career on its own but I just got an A in Higher English. So I thought of studying History as I am also interested in that and I have just got an A at Higher with possibly a joint honor in philosophy or archaeology but I'm not sure if I really want to do this and again it doesn't offer a very reliable career. I have recently thought about Criminology as that part does interest me but I don't know if that's just my own interests in crime fiction and true crimes as usual career prospects are joining the police or being in a prison and I don't want to do that. Finally, I have really thought about Primary Teaching as I have also really liked the idea of teaching although I haven't had much experience with children and not too child friendly. I cannot seem to keep my mind set on one option as I always change it. I feel like I have such a dilemma and wondered if you could please offer me any advice?

Hi, just wondering what shoes you have to wear to work as a Team Member in Greggs? I know they have to be black and fully covered but I was wondering if I could wear totally black converse shoes? I really want to buy them but not sure if I should unless i'm allowed to wear pure black converses?

Well I am nearly 17 years old and feel depressed all the time especially when I am not at school. I hate any type of social situations because I feel awkward all the time. If I do go out with people I don't mind it in fact I sometimes enjoy it but I feel in the way or awkward and I always look for the things I will do wrong. I hate doing stuff infront of people like being stupid or something because I feel like an idiot which makes me come across as uptight and too serious but its just because I am so embarrassed and feel awkward. I can only talk to people I have known for ages and hate meeting new people - not that I ever do meet new people. I sometimes though, even dread going out with friends or if they ask you to a party or a get together. I don't drink and they all do and that makes me even more weird. I hate it at school too because I feel embarrassed about everything unless I am in a class I feel kind of comfortable in. I hate talking to people and I can't ask for make conversation with new people because I feel too awkward. I don't have ANY hobbies or interests and I just sit at home everyday and night on my own on the computer or watching TV. I am so depressed and miserable because I don't do anything and everything makes me nervous.
