  • Would it be faster and/or cheaper for me to take BART into SFO or drive and park?

I will be picking up a relative at 10:00 on a Thursday morning. I will want to get there at about 9:00 to make sure I am in the proper place to meet her. I am coming in from the Central Valley. Thank you in advance for all your answers.

  • Should I get a C-Section or a VBAC?

I will be adding my third bundle of joy soon. My second child was a c-section. I realize that the VBAC has a 98% success rate. Here is the problem. I live in BFE. The doctor explained that VBAC's were not bad and in the correct environment were the appropriate way to go, but in a rural area, they were not the way to go.

One hospital that I live somewhat close to (20 miles) has offered me a trial of labor, but there is no promises. The problem is that hospital has a high infection rate for c-sections as per the health department.

The second hospital does not do VBAC's at all. It would be a C-section. It is about 50 miles away. They actually want me to schedule a c-section if I have the baby there. This hospital has less than 1% infection rate. (They do not have the resources to guarantee my safety and the safety of the baby.)

The third hospital would allow me to have a VBAC, but it is two to two and a half hours away. I would not want to drive that far in labor or with my water broken or in pain, etc. (And, getting an apartment closer to the hospital is not an option because I have to work.) However, it took me about ten months to stop feeling my c-section. I would rather recover sooner than later.

Any advice? Everybody says it is my decision. Well, I know that, but I need to see some new perspectives. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

  • I need advice for potty training my son. PLEASE!!!!?

My little angel will remove his pants and diaper if he has to go potty. When he does that, I put him on his potty. He will try to get up and will not pee or poop in the potty. I then redress him and let him go on his way until he strips again. Then I put him back on the potty. Today I had to step away for a second and he stripped and pooped on the floor. (He will often go on the floor.) This is getting frustrating. It is like he will only use the floor and refuses to use the toilet. Any advice will be GREATLY appriciated. Thank you.

  • New Orleans School District?

Is the New Orleans school district a good employer? Why or why not? Thank you, I am thinking of applying to work there as a teacher. I am wondering if that would be a good idea.

  • Regulations on emergency showers.?

At work the emergency shower leaks into another room. Is this violating a regulation? If so what action should I take? This worries me because the next room over is carpeted. Please advise and site your sources or how you are an expert. Thank you.

  • He did the wrong tooth. What can I do?

I went to the dentist to take care of two teeth that have been bothering me to get fixed. I had the initial exam, and I was told I needed two root canals on the two teeth. I did not ask for a 2nd opinion, because they are in real bad shape, and that is what I thought would be the answer.

Anway, at my first appointment, they did an exam with about a ton of x-rays, and then gave me a treatment plan. The first was to take care of the tooth that was hurting me. (The dentist told me it was a root canal.) Then I would get other things.

I went in for my appt today and he worked on a different tooth. As I left, I asked to see my chart. They told me that I needed 3 root canals (one more than I was orginally told) and my bill went up almost $1000.

It will be at least a month until I can afford the copay on my insurance. AND my insurance will be maxed out during the second root canal, and it will be an extreme hard ship to pay it.

The tooth he worked on today did not hurt

  • Help! I am in a complicated situation and need unbiased advice. husband named "James" and friend "Sam"

Sam has made it no secret he loves me and he is very doting to my daughter and me. He came across the country on a bus to see us for two weeks. While he was there he treated me like royality. He helped me with everything. But, Sam has lied to me about many things. When I called his mom to let her know he was on the bus. I told her that he came back for his car. She told me he did not have a car or a job. Not 1st time he lied to me.

James did not come out with my daughter and me. (He could EASILY get a job at the new location) He came out to visit on a plane for 37 hours. He refused to come when I worked because he did not want to be bored, even though could have played with our daughter while I was out. He has always put his D&D, friends, brother, cars, etc. before us. When he visited with us, he yelled at me the whole time. However, James is very stable. He's had the same job for 15 years (He is 33 years old) He has always supported me financially.

    What should I do? Thanks

  • I am about to move about 2000 miles. Would it be more economical to move my furniture in a truck or buy new?

I am really not interested in buying used furniture unless it is what I REALLLLLY want. However, I am not going to buy really expensive. I may go to an outlet store or to Wal Mart or something like that.
