My boyfriend's prom is in a few months and it is his senior year, so I decided I wanted to make my prom dress. I bought a peplum style pattern, Seen here-- http://images.patternreview.com/sewing/patterns/si...

Is this formal enough? or do I need to buy a new pattern? Also the dress is going to be dark green, and I'm going to change up the top a little. Any suggestions are appreciated! (If it helps, i have short/medium dark brown wavy hair, and i have a boyish figure)

I got Avalon ( my piggie) four days ago and I left her alone the first day. On the second day I gave her some carrots and strawberries, she is starting to eat hay out of my hand but after on piece she runs back to her little house. She dosent like for me to pick her up but when I placed her on "her" pillow that sits in my lap, she calmed down after I kept stroking her and she eventually fell asleep ( on two different occasions) an she bathed herself on the pillow three times. Also i found her tickish spot, i like the way she spazzez and makes little noises so i think she likes it but if im not supposed to tickle her rump and tummy please tell me so. She has also had a breif introduction to my sisters hamster (she didn't seem interested so we separated them again) Avalon is my first guinea pig and rodent that size so any additional advice would be much appreciated. So is it normal for a new guinea pig to act this way and am I bonding with my piggie

I am not a first time bird owner. I have owned and loved a couple of parakeets as a kid and now I'm a teen and I'm birdless, I love all kinds of birds and I'm debating wether I should stick with parakeets or if I should go for a cockatiel. I have neighbors now and in the past my parakeets have been somewhat vocal, so which one is quieter?( I personally don't care but I don't want to aggravate the neighbors). I already have a cage and toys so all I need is the right bird for me.. I am shy towards strangers but outgoing towards my buddies.. I would like a bird that is like me and easy to train... Any suggestions would be great and if you could include the price of the bird as well I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

i already knew him, but a couple of days ago i went to a week long camp and he was there. it was the first time i saw him in a while and he kept looking at me and sneaking up behind me and taps me on the back and just walks away, he'll try to poke me in the eye and sometimes he'll just pretend im not there. i told my dad and he thinks that he likes me but i don't know. im confused... please help cause i like him and i cant tell if he likes me back...

ok my cat got in the house when i was holdin the bird and he attacked her and now she has a gash on her wing and a hole in her neck PLZ HELP i cannot go to the vet so if theres anyway the bird can live plz suggest and suggest quikly i dont know how long she will live

i have tons of scars and deep cuts and i don't want my parents to find out bc Harley ( my pup ) is a really good puppy but when i run she bites my arms and my ankles and i have to hide on top of my gas tank or my truck and also she is a breed of dogs that guard livestock and when i stick her in the pen with my goats she finds a way to crawl out PLZ HELP ME

my grandmother died of cancer so my sister and i had to visit my grandfather more often we were all happy until he married again the first time we met her she was watching disney channel witch is weird and when we went to the aquarium she rented a scooter and the aquarium was huge i would take at least 3 hours to cover and we stayed there only 1 hour and she was tired. i need help i dont like her bc i am not ready for her to be in my life i dont want to tell her, so wat sould i do
