Ryan
Hello, I'm Ryan, and this is my Yahoo. I'm 16 and a male.
My 1991 Mazda Miata's air conditioning is having problems. The force at which cold air blows isn't constant. What could be the problem?
I bought a 1991 Mazda Miata from my boss over summer. Everything seems to work great except for the AC. It sometimes turns on and blows hot air out (which is expected at first during summer), and sometimes it doesn't even blow much of any air out, but sometimes it doesn't seem to stop blowing hot air until I'm driving at about 50 mph. I switched the settings from recycling air to sucking air from outside and it seems to work better, but it still isn't very cold or as forceful as I'd like. It also seems like whenever I pass over shade (like get into cloudy weather) the AC works much better. It seems like any ray of sunlight stops the AC from doing it's job.
I know that it has plenty of free-on so I don't believe that that is the problem. My dad is very mechanical and can't seem to figure it out (I on the other hand am not at all mechanical).
All of the settings on the dash are set to make the AC flow well and cold, so it's not the controls either.
Is there a filter that might need to be cleaned? Or something else that might be the problem? It really sucks to basically need to change clothes every time I drive because it's so hot.
The weather is starting to cool off (but it is Louisiana weather so it'll probably change drastically all the time lol) so it's not much of a problem now, but fixing it before going to a mechanic (which we would be doing next summer when we have money) would be great. If you have suggestions please tell me and I'll tell my dad.
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoHow much of each element is made in an average star's lifetime?
Like would it make enough carbon to pile up to be the size of Earth? Or does it not make all that much? Or does it make way more? I'm just curious.
Astronomy & Space6 years agoWhat vitamins should I take?
I'm a 17 year old male (I turn 18 on August 10th), and I don't eat very much. I never really ate all that much to begin with, I've always been a picky eater, but I was put on ADD medicine, and now I really don't eat much. I might eat a couple bowls of cereal and some chicken nuggets (they're from the store, not a restaurant). I usually drink milk with my food or water. My mom wants to get me some "Men Under 50 Vitamins" but I want to make sure I'm getting the best for me. I really need some good vitamins and nutrition, and vitamins are the way to go. Should my mom get me those under 50 vitamins, or is there something better? They also can't be too expensive.
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness7 years agoWhat should I do to become a multiple subject teacher?
I want to become a high school teacher and teach English, psychology, and biology. I really love all of these subjects, and I really want to learn so much more about them and then pass that information down to students. I live in Louisiana, where you only need a bachelors degree to teach. I can do that, but I'm not sure what to major/minor in to be able to teach all of these. I believe I'll need a major in education, but would I minor in English, psych, and biology? Can I even do that?
I would really love english because it's really wonderful. I love the stories and poems and interesting artist who write them.
I also really love psychology because it's just interesting. I mean everybody is at least a little interested in it, but I want to learn everything and teach it to people. It's also great for a teacher because I will know how to help the kids and be able to control the bad ones.
I really love biology because it's the story of us and every other creature on Earth. I mean, you give a cell a couple billion years and you have extremely complicated life. There are also so many scientifically illiterate kids and I can help them to become interested in sciences and to help them learn.
I'm also really good in these subjects. I've made great grades in english all throughout school, psychology I also did, and most sciences (the exception is Chem, but the teacher was awful, smart, but awful at teaching and I didn't have my ADD meds).
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoHow to prevent a rash from shaving my face?
For about the last month or two I've been getting a rash like redness on the right side of my face from shaving. It's also very dry, sometimes I can even feel dead, dry skin falling off when I scratch there. This hasn't happened, that I can remember, before. Is it possible that this is because of winter?
As you can see in the picture, it's very red. I don't think that it's an actual rash, but I guess that's possible.
When I shave I wet my face with warm water, use a shaving gel, and shave carefully with a good razor. I also use a little lotion on my face after. (I also get the excess gel off with cold water).
How can I prevent this? It's something that I am really uncomfortable with, and it really lowers my self esteem.
Also in the picture I obviously haven't shaven yet today, but that just shows that this redness doesn't go away much at all.
When I first got it I thought it was just a bad patch of acne, which I get a lot, but it wasn't.
1 AnswerOther - Skin & Body7 years agoWhat are some good film schools?
My goal in life is too become a film writer and director. I love films so much and I want to go to a film school so I can learn so much more than I do now. I want a film school that will teach writing classes (I already love to write but more practice can't hurt), Camera techniques, Lighting, EDITING (I have no idea how to edit like with Avid and such and I really need to learn). In school (I'm currently a senior) I took Creative Writing, Film Literature (That class really made me appreciate films for what they are and made me appreciate classic films from the beginning of the industry to current day films), A TV Productions class (Which helped me understand a small amount of editing but not too much, but it did help me hands on when actually filming very short films). So I was wondering if there were schools that thought classes like these.
I live in Louisiana so a local college would be nice, and I googled that and just got confused (I hate thinking about colleges). So I would love help with this. If there are good schools outside of my area that's probably fine too though.
Thanks :)
1 AnswerMovies8 years agoHow do you return a movie to Netflix?
Apparently I just put it in the sleeve and mail it back but do I need a stamp or anything.
Or is it just,
Put in sleeve,
Put in mailbox
Wait?
And that's it.
Or what?
2 AnswersMovies8 years agoA few questions about Netflix?
Is it always $8 a month? Forever?
We get to keep the movies that come in as long as we want?
Can you have multiple films at a time? How many?
What can you get Netflix instant on? Xbox? PS4? Wii U? Computers?
How does the money get taken out to pay for it? Is it automatically from a credit card or bank?
How do you sign up for it?
And how do you pick movies to come in through the mail?

If a kid said it in elementary school would he even get in trouble?
What about high school?
I'm just really curious
Thanks for answering :)
2 AnswersWords & Wordplay8 years agoHow can I stop my Xbox from signing me out of Xbox Live?
Whenever I stay on Xbox Live for a while (usually on Netflix) it will randomly sign me out and say I need to upgrade to gold. I have a gold membership that won't go out until next year, so it isn't that. It's that it signs me out. I don't have any other profiles on my Xbox so it isn't switching me. It only happens about once a day but it's getting annoying (And it cut off the fifth episode of Sherlock and I was getting really into it lol). Help would be appreciated, thanks :D
1 AnswerXbox8 years agoWhy won't my iMessage send even though I'm connected to Wifi?
I've tried to message multiple friends on iMessage (who have iMessage) and it won't work. This had been going on for a while now and at a friends house it will work, but at mine it doesn't. It used to but now does not. Everything is turned on and I have a wifi connection and it's pretty strong. I've tried turning it on and off and still nothing. Why?
Is it too much memory?

1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoHow to fix static on my TV?
Well there is a slight static on my TV. It's not bad but it gets bad when anything black is on the TV (Like a dark shirt a character is wearing). And I want to watch a TV show tonight, but can't with the static. Is there a way I can fix it. I think it's the wire. Because this TV worked in other rooms. Is their a way I can fix it?
1 AnswerTVs8 years agoWhen does the TV show Bates Motel come on?
I'm pretty sure it's on A&E on Mondays (not sure about the day) I'm about to watch the first episode and if I like it I'd like to continue to watch it. But what time does it come on (I live in Louisiana central time zone also) :)
