  • Do you consider Edward Snowden a traitor or a hero?

Just curious to see how other people in the world views this guy. I just think it is odd that the USA cannot seem to catch him. It makes me think that the US government is scared to catch him without his bags. Or they may be afraid if he is caught at the wrong time, some terrible secret about the USA will come out.

  • Why is the USA government so concerned about gun control now?

I know many things have happened recently to place a concern here. But if you ever read your local newspapers, you will discover it is not worse than it always has been.

Do you think the government wants gun control now, because they are afraid of a revolution?

  • Do you think the stock market will very soon crash again?

I read an article that stated the Stock Market could soon crash again due to problems with student loans.

Anyone who is attending college might have noticed they are having problems getting their student financing cleared without going through the ringer. Also many financial analysts are starting to predict those paying off their student loans will have less money to spend. This happens to many because they are not qualified for the careers College supposedly trained them for, and in turn they are working minimum wage jobs.

If the economy crashes again, will people attempt to blame this on Bush Jr. or will they see the light that Obama is actually sitting around doing nothing, and place the blame where it belongs?

(okay I know the last comment was a snub at both our previous and present president, but both are worthless big business lapdogs. Who care more about Big Business profits, than getting people off Wel-Fare, and back to work in the USA.)

  • Why is Obama scared to do his job?

This may make some people mad, but think about it. I am a lifelong Democrat, and was proud of it until Obama. To me, Obama is the worst president I have ever seen ( almost like he is hiding something that he is scared will be revealed. )

If anyone here is old enough to remember, Clinton did not care what scandal the Republicans threw at him. He went in and got the job done. If you recall everyday a new scandal was placed against Clinton, but Clinton would use it to his advantage and even had a few Republicans removed in the process ( aka NEWT GINGRICH to name one ).

Even George W Bush was not scared to get his hands dirty while in office. He made a ton of poor decisions ( thanks to Dick Cheney ) but at least he was not scared of the repercussions.

So why does Obama act like a scared rabbit? What is he hiding?

This question will be brought up to a vote since I know I will receive a ton of hate comments. So feel free to bash the question if needed.

  • Why does Sarah Palin always show up when Obama is not doing a good job?

Over the last few years I have noticed that every time Obama does something bad, Sarah Palin shows up and tells him how bad he is doing ( and usually makes a joke of herself in the process. )

Do you think she is primarily there to make Obama look good, or do you think she arrives to remind us that there has not been a decent candidate to run for president in several years?

I think the the answer to the second question is yes ( to both parts ), considering John McCain probably would have won the election against Obama if Palin had not entered the picture.

Now whether or not McCain would have done a better job than Obama is unknown. But so far ( and GOD Forgive me for actually stating this, considering I hated this man ) Bush did a better job of handling the financial crisis than Obama has.

Bill Clinton did a better job, but I do not think Hillary would do this country much good anymore either. I guess we should all get use to speaking Chinese soon, since we sold most of the country to them already anyways.

That's my opinion. Feel free to blast me if you want to. When it comes time this question will go up for a vote, so the best answer will be picked by the Yahoo community and not me.

  • Since all TV is suppose to be Digital, why is Christian TV allowed to still broadcast on the analog signal?

If I had not seen it, I would never have believed it.

A friend of mine recently dropped his cable and went back to regular television. While scanning through the channels one night, we discovered 75 Digital Channels and 1 Analog channel. At first I thought this was a fluke, considering that all Television is now suppose to use only the Digital airwaves. But there it was. The Trinity Broadcasting Network was on an analog channel, and 8 Digital Channels.

I asked my friend if he continued to receive the same amount of channels each day. He told me no. Sometimes he would only receive 6 Digital Channels, but he would also still get that 1 analog channel. Then one night he told me that he picked up 4 analog channels and 80 digital channels. When I asked him what they were, he said that all 4 of the analog channels were Christian Church channels, and 20 of the 80 channels he received that night were also Christian based.

Now I do not have much against Religion except in cases where I think it is trying to take advantage of a situation. So my question is why are Christian Television programs allowed to broadcast in Analog, but no other channels are allowed to broadcast this way?

Remember all Television is suppose to be digital now.

  • What happened to the TEA Party & The Occupy Movement?

Okay I know one dealt with one subject and the other a slightly different one. I am not attempting to compare anything here, or start a war. I am just curious does anyone have any information on these two groups.

The last I heard from the TEA PARTY (which I was never a member of) was sometime around 2010. The Last I heard of the Occupy Movement, they were moving towards a worldwide Occupy movement.

Is there any new information on these two groups?

The news media is too scared to cover them much anymore.

  • If television continues with the growing number of informercials will you still pay for Cable or Satellite?

For the last few years I have noticed television programming is getting worse every year. A few years ago it started for me when USA began airing 1 movie 2 times a day for an entire weekend, now it is the growing number of infomercials.

To give you an example of my problem with this, on one of the local stations -- they have on 12 hours of regular programming, and 12 hours of infomercials (this is exactly what the program guide shows). Now I can get this station for free over the air, so why am I having to pay for it. Couldn't they at least offer something else to watch? I know someone will say that you can change the channel, but that is not the point. The point s why am I paying for some television program to show me 12 straight hours of infomercials?

In case you have not noticed, there are even television shows that are dedicated to the idea of Infomercials (such as Shark Tank). Has the entertainment business really went this bad? Has no one came up with any better ideas? Even worst take a look at the recent movies that have come out. How many are original stories and how many are just rehashed repeats of older films or ideas?

I think that Hollywood and the whole entertainment industry has went down hill, but I am wondering if it is just me.

  • If the internet went totally down forever, would it bother you?

Lets face facts, as much as we like to think we are protected, many times we are not. Our computers get viruses (unless you are on a MAC), we lose data, and overall the web is not very well protected. We hear off and on about major companies having problems with their mainframes (many times the result of a mainframe being hacked).

Would it bother you if the internet went down forever?

Now for those who are RUDE, think about this. When a website goes down, it is often the result of problems with the mainframe. Many times this is an easy fix, but what if 100 mainframes went down at once? What if 1,000 mainframes went down at once? While I hear people state there is no way the internet could ever go completely down, it is possible. And many times this possibility comes from our own computer programming.

  • Where can you download or buy Television Series (like USA UP ALL NIGHT) that are not readily available on DVD?

I managed to score a few of the UP ALL NIGHT clip DVDs through eBay for Up All Night, but they did not come with the movies this show had. I attempted to restore a few of these but soon discovered that most of the movies required to do the videos were not available on DVD or not available for download on the internet ( but I am still looking ). So I am hoping someone can help me.

I am wanting to get hold of some of the original "USA Up All Night" films. Problem is there are so many not available anymore (probably because alot of them stunk). Besides these I am also attempting to find old full episodes of "The Headbangers Ball" and Commander USA Groovie Movies.

Many of these are not available anywhere, but I found some of the Commander USA Groovie Movies on YouTube.

If nothing else could someone place on youtube movies like: Party Camp, Happy Hour (aka Sour Grapes), Vampire on Bikini Beach, Assault of the Party Nerds, and stuff like this.

  • Considering recent Political and Economic events, do you think we are heading to World War 3?

I know some people will blast me for asking this question, but it is your opinion so go ahead.

Here is what I am looking at. A few years ago, the world economy started crashing. If you kept up with the news all the major world economy leaders were starting to see major losses in the stock market. Now it has rallied back but some people are starting to question this rise considering sales are down all over. There are also reports that the unemployment rate has dropped, yet this does not mention how many people are underemployed, or are strapped working to pay off their Student loans and child support.

Speaking of Child Support have you noticed ow overpopulated the world has become. Although not all countries are enforcing this, some are starting to make sterilization an issue. Some countries only allow a couple to have 1 baby, which means when the parents die out the population will drop by 1/2. However, other countries are boosting the idea of reproducing (the USA does this many times by talking about abstinence rather than Birth Control). Even more recently the USA has lowered their guard on the borders, allowing more people to come into the USA, plus making it easier for someone to plant a dirty bomb if needed.

Now we have North Korea threatening (maybe looking for attention, maybe not) to fire a rocket at the States. Furthermore, the Taliban has not been neutralized yet, leaving another front that a war could be fought on.

When you look at the history of the last two major world wars (and not just what led the US and other countries to get involved.) you may find what is happening now and what happened then to be similar.

So do you think we are currently heading to another World War?

As a final thought, what would you do if someone actually brought down the Web? Do you think you could handle unplugging? It could happen.

  • Why does television run those long 30 minute infomercials?

Wouldn't be cheaper to play some public domain movie (or Television show) and a group of 30 second commercials every 10 to 15 minutes?

    The good points:

I remember in the 1970's the television quit broadcasting around 1 or 2 am until 6 am except on the weekends when programs would run longer. Then in the 1980's they started playing Music videos (commercials for musicians albums, MTV was paid by the bands sometimes to air them.), and straight to television movies ( within 2 minute commercial breaks there would be trailers from the same motion picture company the film was made by this helped fund the cost of airing the movie, not to mention all the other commercials shown during these commercials breaks.), then in the late 80's or 90's the HORROR HOST idea really took off playing many Drive - In or straight to video Movie titles. This was an old concept from local television stations (that played mostly public Domain films) that was once also big on Cable Television. Inside these special movie hours (since many played either double or triple features) they would show lesser known movies that many people either went out and bought (if within a certain price range) or rented which generated money for the film company. To further edit some of these films, some of these shows went into Mystery Science 3000 tactics and placed product advertisements, and special editing that sometimes allowed the hosts to become part of the movie. Then when the commercials did run there were tons of phone numbers (since it was popular way of promoting Wrestling, Music, and Sex at that time), Recording Artists latest releases, Wrestling & or Movie Commercials, & a beer or (in the daytime) cereal, toy, or household product.

    The Bad points:

In the 1990's someone thought it would be better to play better movie titles and started reserving rights to play a small group of movies. This cost both the television audience, and the cable and Local television stations greatly (and is the reason why today Channels like USA always has on an NCIS marathon, or SPIKE plays all 6 Star Wars movies back to back, then one a day back all the time. And all these channels (although when Cable first came out was supposed to be commercial free) started stopping their programs around midnight or a little later and began playing large groups of infomercials something that most people without money are not interested in, nor want to invest in.

Even worst, Companies like DirecTV have these long infomercials playing on some channels nonstop. WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY TO WATCH INFOMERCIALS????

Oh well that is my gripe.

    What do you think?

And congratulations on reading this long winded gripe. LOL

  • Do you prefer to stream, download, or buy (DVD / Blu-Ray) movies?

I know that streaming from Netflix is becoming more and more popular with some people. My question is why? Can you download and keep them (like burn them to a disc) or are they encrypted to prevent this possibility?

Furthermore with the poor quality of many of the torrents available for movies, why do people choose to download top rated movies, but refuse to place on the web harder to find (older VHS) movies.

You can find a few of these but not as many as the movies not available on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Can these movies be found on sites like Netflix?

The reason I am asking is because years ago when Netflix mailed out DVDs, a friend of mine joined but was only able to get older movies (like those found on YouTube).

Please give me some info on this.

  • Can someone tell me why it is cheaper to buy a carton of cigars than a carton of Cigarettes?

When they raised the price of tobacco, they only raised it on cigarettes. Today a cheap carton of cigarettes cost around $35.00, but you can buy a carton of cheap little cigars for less than $10.00.

If both causes so many health problems then why is it cheaper to buy a carton of cigars, than it is to buy a carton of cigarettes.

I think it is because the rich usually smoke cigars, but not certain.

  • Who will win the presidential election -- Romney, Paul, or Obama?

While I know someone will state where is Gingrich, if you really checked into his ethics violations, he is not able to become President of the USA. I have no idea why he is running for office, unless Former President George W Bush or William Clinton changed this law while in office. So that really narrows the pack down.

In the end I am hoping these will be the three running for office, this way the election process will be interesting, and possibly not like the Jerry Springer Show ripoff, the republican conventions have turned into.

So who will win the presidency?

Will Mitt Romney win it for the conservative party?

Or will Ron Paul run as an independent Libertarian candidate and take it all?

Or Finally will Mr President Barack Obama gain a second term, and end the TEA PARTY politics that have taken center stage in the last 2 years?

    What is your opinion?

    I will give mine later.

  • Is it just me or has the WWE become worse since John Laurinaitis became General Manager?

I am not stating that the WWE has been that great since The Undertaker, Triple H, Edge, or Shawn Michaels has retired, but it appears to be getting worse.

I thought that after CM Punk exploded, and Shamus really started making headway things would improve, but week after week I am getting more and more bored with the entire show.

Last weeks RAW was a great example of this. Over 2/3 of everything that happened you could find on tapes from the ATTITUDE era except it was presented in a TV-14 manor. I recall at one point thinking the New age outlaws are going to come out and push Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk) and Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) off the stage after throwing them into a garbage container. But maybe it was just me.

    What do you think?
