  • To go to a party or not to go?

I just need input from outside sources. My dad is in the hospital and is doing fine now but I am not sure what the next 24-48 hours will be like. I have been invited to a party this weekend which is 2 1/2 hours away, staying all night and will be home Sunday sometime. Do I go to the party even though my dad is in the hospital.

  • Depression or weird mood swing?

Ok so I don't think I am depressed but something is weird. I wake up each day dragging myself out of bed. I don't want to go to work(like who really does), but I don't want to stay home. I am completly exhausted but don't want to go to sleep. I am generally a happy person and I don't have too many bad days. I am not going to say I don't have mood swing because I do. This isn't PMS, just ending my period. This has been going on for about a week, I have the feeling of "I just don't care anymore". I have to care, I am a mom and a wife so I am needed for many things so I have to be ready for anything but all I want is to be left alone. Is this some wired form of depression or just the sick of winter blues?? It's really bothering me. Has anyone else deal with this sort of thing.

  • How do you get rid of the smell of moth balls?

I work for a storage company and one of my customers put moth balls in their storage unit. The storage unit is on the inside(climate control as we call it) and the smell has covered the entire hallway. How do I get a moth ball smell out of the air in an enclosed area???? Please help it is affecting my job as I can't go out there and work.

We have no rules about moth balls and want to do all we can to keep our customers so there has to be a way to remove that smell from the air.

If anyone knows what to do here let me know. Thanks so much.

  • My cat was vomiting up white foamy looking stuff?

Tuesday night my cat who was 8 was vomiting up white foamy looking stuff, she died over night. She was an inside cat and hadn't been poisoned(which was my first thought). I buried her Wednesday morning. I am very upset, I got her when she was 6 weeks old and she died too young for a cat. If anyone knows what the white foamy stuff could be, could you please tell me. I don't know that there was anything I could have done to save my cat, I just have to realize that she is in a better place but if anyone has any idea about what might have happened please let me know.

  • Needing serious help with my tv?

Ok, I'll try to explain this the best way I can. I have digital cable, service is great with the exception of my tv. Upon turning on my tv, I get snow. Cable kicks in anywhere from 5 minutes later to as of last night took 1 1/2 hours for the cable to kick in. Once my tv is on for so long without a picture it turns it self off. I need it on so the cable will kick in. I have been able trying to just turn off the cable box but my son(out of habit) turns off the tv. Is this a cable issue or is my tv about broken. The tv is 8-10 years old. If anyone has heard of this or knows what I am talking about can you please help. I have already started looking for a new tv. Do I really need a new one?

  • Did anyone see SNL last night?

What did you guys think of it? I thought it was boring and was seriously lacking in humor. Too much political crap in my opinion.

  • If your child has a fever?

My son is sick and has a fever what are the common rules for having a fever and sending them to school? Tomorrow is Monday and he has school if his fever is gone can I send him or should you wait a certain amount of time? Don't even bother telling me to take him to the doctor because I am not one to just take my child to the doctor for a simple cough or a minor fever when I can take care of the problem at home. I just want to know if it would be ok to send him to school in the morning if his fever is gone.

  • Do you remember this old 80's tv segment?

Way back in the early to mid 80's there was this show on PBS called 3 2 1 Contact. At the end of the episodes they showed these segments called the Adventures of the Bloodhound Gang. Does anyone know if these are available somewhere? You would have to be in your 30's to remember this show.
