after reading the article about the murdered model who was identified by the serial numbers on her breast implants, I wondered how christians felt about this. I've read speculation about mark of the beast being a microchip of some kind. most medical implants (pace makers, defibrillators, artificial knees & hips, etc) have serial numbers engraved on them. the numbers are recorded as to who gets what in case of malfunction (and perhaps other reasons).

so my question, would you get one of these implants knowing the serial number was recorded? would you deny one because of this?

a few years ago, I worked for a non-profit that ran a homeless shelter. it always seemed there was never enough beds. it had a section for homeless pregnant women. the shelter was within a block of a clinic that perfomed abortions. I had the chance to speak with some of the protesters. I'll ask you the same question I asked them.

do you feel it's enough just to protest against abortion? would you or do you do anything more? such as volunteer at a shelter, provide transportation to doctor appts, take a homeless woman into your home, help her apply for benefits & find housing, etc.
