medical implants/mark of the beast?
after reading the article about the murdered model who was identified by the serial numbers on her breast implants, I wondered how christians felt about this. I've read speculation about mark of the beast being a microchip of some kind. most medical implants (pace makers, defibrillators, artificial knees & hips, etc) have serial numbers engraved on them. the numbers are recorded as to who gets what in case of malfunction (and perhaps other reasons).
so my question, would you get one of these implants knowing the serial number was recorded? would you deny one because of this?
no, I don't believe this. I wonder about christian & their worries. I'm not a christian.

I am a Christian, and I am most certainly not worried. The mark has to do with a belief system as well as an identification in the forehead (mind) and the hand (deeds).
All scripture shall be fulfilled.

Christians are rarely consistent with each other on their beliefs and often are not rational about them. For example, when social security numbers were fist issued, there was a large amount of concern about them being the mark of the beast. However, it is fairly clear that the "mark" will not just be a mark but will have a spiritual/moral significance that will make it "distasteful" for a Christian. Of course, this was "prophesied" when people believed in magic and that a "mark" could change someone...

Traceability is mandatory for implants, which is why serial numbers are put on them. It is a mark put by humans to go into humans. So it is at most a mark of the human and not beast.

NO! The mark of the beast would not be something that you could accidentally put in your body. It is a willing choice to join Satan. It is said to be in the hand or forehead not your boobs.
