What is the subplot and parallel plot in the book To Kill A Mockingbird?

I can't seem to understand these questions on my summer reading packet I need to do for school on the book. Please help?

- Define Parallel Plot and Subplot. Find at least one example of each from the novel, considering the main plot would be that of Jem and Scout growing up.

- Discuss the role of the family in the book, paying close attention to aunt Alexandra.

I can't get my hands on my summer reading book! It's out everywhere I go, need some help on these questions:

How does the role in money affect different characters in the novel?

What sort of statement does Hansberry seem to be making about race? Does she make more than one statement? If so, do these statements conflict with each other?

Define internal conflict and external conflict. Explain specifically how each of the main characters (Mama, Ruth, Walter Lee, Beneatha) experiences both types of conflicts.

The questions make no sense to me (giving that I haven't read the book) so any help will be of thanks. The paper said that the questions need to be answered in paragraph form, but I don't care, as long as I have an answer.

The person to answer as many questions with as much detail as they can will be rewarded for their help.
