I am an American currently living in China and I want to travel to Cairo for a week on my holiday. The problem is, I don't have access to a lot of travel books on Egypt and a lot of the good websites about Egyptian culture are blocked. Can you give me some good books/websites or if you have friends that can give me a little info, I would really appreciate it!

I came all the way here to visit my baby's father, mind you he wanted us to come visit him. Me and my boyfriend have an 8-mnth old together and I finally met his family, who currently live in a different country. They all love me and I really love them too. The problem is, I realize now what kind of person my boyfriend is I cannot see myself spending the rest of my life with someone like him. We have just been reunited after spending over a year apart so I was not able to see what kind of person he has become. I really do love his family and would like to be with them more but they expect us to get married and I dont want to now. I have not told him my feelings, I just pretend everything is ok until I figure out what to do next. What do you think?

I know this site lists various travel alerts that Americans should pay attention to when considering traveling abroad but I have friends from a lot of the countries listed and they always say, "Oh it's not like that, we are very friendly to Americans" and they go on to list different cities that would be nice to visit. I know those warnings are there to protect us, but what do you think? Would ya still go? Just curious. I'm an adventurous person, but don't wanna make a mistake either.

I have been reading lots of questions and answers in all categories and I just can't seem to understand why people refuse to use the spell check. I mean A LOT of people misspell even the simplest words!!! You even have the option of previewing your response before you submit it. Please help! It's driving me insane!!
