What do you guys think is the best fishing pole out there for under $75? I will be using it to fish 4 crappies.

Tell me where you guys prefer to shop and why (especially for fishing items and gear). Thanks!

Hey guys I need some help. I am 14 and have recently become interested in fishing. I live in New Orleans and need some fishing spots you guys may know of. I've tried New Orleans City Park for hours on end and I have even tried the new fishing pier on Rober E. Lee and Marconi but I have yet to get a single fish. I have heard that they are some pretty large bass (3,4, 5 pounders). Just let me know of some fishing spots you guys fish at that are near N.O.

By the way, the tackle box I am using to store the corks and rigs is the Plano 44 Magnum.

I currently live in louisiana around the Algiers area. We live about 30 minutes from UNO and the point (which is the place where we normally do our fishing). For my birthday this year, my family decided to buy me an Ugly Stik Catfish pole that has a live bait switch (you switch it and it is basically a very loose drag setting). There are lots of catfish, drum, and even blackfin sharks there. I have been looking for my own tackle bag/box that i can bring with me. My choice as of right now is the Bass Pro Shops XPS Stalker. It seems suitable, if not too big, for what I am looking for. Price has to be under $75. I want something that can accomodate gold spoons and redfish corks (Popping corks?) Also please list any tips or good fishing areas that you know of. Thanks guys

I would like to complete all of the training and programs necessary to become a pilot in the Air Force. After doing that, I would like to work part-time as a pilot while being a K-9 officer as my weekdays job. Is this possible?
