I know this seems like a long shot, but i am planning a trip to Europe, and making a stop in England (Manchester to be exact). My friend who lives in Germany said that it is cheap to get to England but very expensive to stay there (he said 100-200 a night) but my mom said that when she visited London (granted this was 20+ years ago) she stayed in a very quaint, small, old lady's "Bed and Breakfast" for practically nothing. My question is, living in America it is difficult for me to google these kind of places as all that pops up is trip adviser and sites like that. I DON'T WANT ANYTHING CORPORATE OR ON TRIP ADVISER. I can find those myself. My question is, is there anything like what I explained previously that anyone knows about? Cheap B&B not necessarily "on the map" that I could somehow get in contact with? I'm a highschool student (17 soon to be 18) making minimum wage. I have a few questions about taxes.

1. How much will i lose on my paycheck? I only get one a month, and don't wanna wait/do the math to find out how much i lose on $8.05 an hr.

2. I keep getting told I will be "getting most of it back" because I am a student. Is this true? if so how much do i get back? how do i ensure i can get it back? and when will i get it back?

So I live in Arizona but I am on vacation in Colorado, so the night before I left (4days ago) I felt a little sore throat, the next morning we left and I was in more pain the whole 13 hour drive was painful. That next day wasn't too bad l, but the following was agonizing I was in unbelievable pain so I went to see a docter and he diagnosed me with strep throat, the next morning I'm hawkin up blood in my loogies.
