I have a four line digital phone system. I have no idea as to how to get my DSL signal

I have a 3 meg/sec circuit in my office. My local cable provider has offered to connect my office with a tower using co-ax cable. The tower is about half a mile away. I have never worked with co-ax for internet use. I found this converter. Could it really be that easy? I must be missing something. The Internet will start out from my router with an Ethernet connection, it will then convert to co-ax to run the half mile outdoors, then convert back to Ethernet to plug into some wireless devices. My son, who is a student at Michigan State University called me and told me that he sees Zack Roloff in his Dorm Cafeteria eating dinner every night. I have seen nothing on the Internet to support this, so I am suspicious my son is mistaken. Does anyone know anything about this?

I gave my daughter one of our Directv receiver to take to college. She goes to Michigan State in East Lansing Michigan. We had Green Bay local channels at home. Now at college she gets all the channels except local channels. It just says searching for satellite. Can this be fixed or do we just live with out them?
