Which one should I get out of these two? Or if you know of a better camera for around the same price please tell me.

I'm quoting a passage from a book but it ends with dialogue. It would look like this with the quotation marks.

The passage reads, "Blah blah blah blah. "This is the quote"".

It looks weird with two quotation marks next to each other. If it's not correct, what is the correct way?

This summer I haven't done much so next year I am planning on volunteering somewhere. I know of local places such as animal shelters that I can volunteer at, but I was wondering if I could possibly volunteer for you? By the next summer I will be 15 and I am located in ______, Ohio which is about two hours away from _______. I think volunteering for you would allow you to have more time on your hands and more time to do other things. If you would like to know more, I am more than happy to tell you.

Also, in the future would you ever accept intern applications? I plan on being an author as a side job and I think interning for an actual author would help me gain the experience I need.

So I want to intern for a small business that is located 2 hours away. But on weekends I can drive down and visit and work there. I could email or Skype them whenever. I plan on asking soon but plan on actually doing the internship in two years when I'm 16 and can drive. Do you think I could possibly be an intern for them? They currently don't have any yet. And could I just send the head supervisor an email saying:

Hello, I have been interested in your work and I would like to know if I could possibly apply to be an intern for you in two years? I plan on being an ______ as a side job and would like some experience before I start college. Thank you.
