I run a animal rescue and we brought in a ten week old kitten that was found outside very lethargic we think he might have had a mild heat stroke. He is doing much better now but we give animals in our rescue this nutra cal from the vet when they are a little weak. I was putting the paste in the kittens mouth when he bit down on my finger. It didn't puncture the skin because my finger was between his two canines. It must have scratched my finger because about 14 hours later my finger is swollen a tad bit where the scratch must have been and it is very sensitive to the touch. It is also warmer in that spot than the rest of my fingers. Should I go and have it checked out? I am just afraid it might turn into cellulitis and should fix it now before I would have to go to the hospital. I have a band aid on right now with triple a on it.

I was wondering if it actually worked because I can't find to many reviews on it at all.

I am a 23 year old female who is 5'5" and 118 pounds. I work out everyday at a gym doing cardio on the treadmill for 40 minutes and then the elliptical for 20 minutes. Then I do about 30 to 60 minutes on the weight machines which target the legs arms and abs. How many weeks before I see more muscle definition?

The cushions are wider than normal also. I'm having a debate with someone over this and we need answers.

My vet was not sure if my foster cat was pregnant or not and when she went into labor type symptoms with no kittens coming we did a ultrasound a week later and saw nothing. If the kittens passed away inside would they show up on the ultrasound? She is acting normal and eating and drinking fine so my rescue lady thinks she had a fake pregnancy.

Over a week ago I took her to the vet to have a injured leg looked at and the vet was pretty sure she was preggers. Judging on the size of her belly she said she would be surprised if she lasted even a week before having them. Now almost two weeks later she is still holding on. We did find out she had worms really bad but her belly did not go down in size after we dewormed her. When we feel her stomach I'm pretty sure I can feel the kittens inside of her. I debating on whether to take her back to my vet and have her feel her stomach again for me. I'm getting frustrated because they should have been here by now. Before anyone preaches to me about not having her spayed we rescued her from the cold winter and she was already pregnant.

Last summer I adopted out over twenty kittens that were found around my mothers house. She lives out in the country and stray cats wander up and around her house. My uncle who lives next door has a few pole barns and building that they seem to be attracted to. We have been wanting to trap and release these cats spayed/neutered but are not having any luck finding a place around here to do it for a reduced price. There is currently three males and two females that come up to my mothers home right now. We would take them to our vet but after all the shots and exam fees would wouldn't even be able to afford to take our own animals to the vet! We live in Midland MI so if anyone knows of a place around there that would help us out so much. Please don't start preaching to me either no matter how many times we try to get rid of the cats there always seem to be more than wander to the area.

Do you think they would give a away a pet for nothing to a rescue or to someone who would place them in another home if they were going to be euthanized that day. Wouldn't it save them money to give them to a rescue instead of spending money to put them down? I know the shelters need money to stay open but wouldn't that make more sense than killing them? I would think that the no kill rescues would save more animals if they didn't have to fork out the money to "adopt" them.

If the law knows that a private property is abusing animals then why can't we seize them all? If the government knew that someone was abusing a child they can take them away! I'm so tired of all these dirt bags from getting away with it. My last two foster dogs have been from puppy mills and they are so damaged from how they are treated.

My mothers cat was straining in the litter during the weekend so we took him to the vet on Monday and found out he had a bladder blockage. Three nights later and he is still there. He had to be put under and cathed the first night and was put on fluids, pain killers. He was also poked and prodded for many other lab tests that told us he was in kidney failure due to the blockage. His labs are better now but he still is not eating. Which he did not eat during the weekend. The vet does not want to send him home unless he is eating. So we might have to take him home friday and see if he will eat at home where he feels safe if not then he has to come back in on monday for a feeding tube down his throat. Just wanted to know how long it took anyone elses cats that went through this to get better.

We are planning on trying to conceive next year and we have been throwing some names around and we came up with these.

I saw it almost a year ago at Glens supermarket in Michigan and now I can't find it anywhere. I even went to barnes and noble and it was not there. Anyone know what I am talking about?

By the time we get married we will have been together for over seven years and lived together for about four so we are very strong and love each other very much.

I had a ad for free kittens and this one email from Courtney Noonan emailed me about them and wanted to take one for her children. After a few days of corresponding we agreed to meet at a Pet Store to exchange the kittens. Well she never showed up claiming that the ride she was getting from a friend in their Hummer was in a really bad accident and that her son was in the hospital. Why would she be on her email if her son was in a accident just then? She also asked a lot of funny questions through out the days. I just recently posted a add for some more free kittens and I got a email from her again asking if I still had them! Has anyone ever had this problem on craigslist?

In order for insurance to cover your test you need to have your appointment scheduled for a year and one day from your test last year. What about the women who are on birth control and they need their new prescription? The have to wait to get their birth control. It may be only one day late but for some people that might mean a accidental pregnancy. I know I am just ranting about this but I think it is silly.

I go to curves with my mother to work out and on my last weigh and measure my body fat % went down to 17.8%. Two months ago it was 20.9% Also my BMI is 20.5. I am 22 years old a female who is 5'6". I was told I need to increase my body fat %. How should I do that? I eat a lot of nuts, dairy, fruits and veggies. Oh and plenty of water

Is there anything I can start doing now besides planning in my head?
