  • Looking for a low height naked bike suitable for A2 license?

I'm going to complete my direct access next year (A2) and am looking for a bike so I can practise riding it on the farm (large area of concrete) the problem is I am quite short 5ft 2in and am struggling to find a bike. At the moment I have a Yamaha ybr125 and am comfortable with the height (78cm seat height). The Ducati monster 696 looks awesome however I've heard a lot about how expensive they are to maintain. I am looking at the Suzuki SV650 which has a seat height of 80.5cm. How far do you think you could lower the bike and what would need to be done? Are there any other naked bikes that can be restricted to 46bhp? Thanks in advance :)

  • Thoughts on dark brown/black hair and blue eyes?

Do you find girls with dark hair, fair skin and blue/grey eyes attractive?

  • Blonde and blue eyes or brown and blue eyes?

Which would you find most attractive. Blonde hair and blue eyes or brown and blue eyes. I have weird grey/blue eyes and blonde hair and am getting fed up with being stereotyped as a stupid blonde so I'm debating on dying my hair a deep brown. I am also pale so I don't know if that will make me look a little washed out. This goes to girls too, would you like to have dark hair and blue eyes and do you think that combination is pretty?

  • Do you have to sit in neutral at red lights for the motorcycle test?

I'm just wondering for the module 2 motorcycle test do you have to sit in neutral when stopped at a traffic light? I always stay in first with the clutch in so I'm ready to go as soon as the light changes, will I fail if I do that on the test? Thanks in advance :)

  • Is the cause of depression chemical imbalances or events?

I'm revising for A level psychology and I'm reading about stress and depression. There is a biological theory to depression where depression is related to low levels of brain serotonin and noradrenaline. Drugs such as MAOI's and SSRI's increase these chemicals in the brain. But what I'm wondering is, is this theory stating that the only cause of depression is low levels of serotonin and noradrenaline and therefore ignoring events that can cause depression such as a relative dying? Can someone who has a so called 'perfect life' form depression just because their brain isn't making enough serotonin and noradrenaline? Thanks in advance :)

  • Growth hormone therapy?

Hello, I'm seventeen years old (eighteen in august) and I'm 5ft 1in. Basically for three years and two months I have been eating around 800 calories. One of those years I was eating around 600 a day. In March 2010 I developed severe IBS which leaves me in pain everyday and is made worse by eating anything. I have literally been living on bread, Weetabix, pasta, crackers and digestive biscuits for the past three years. So I'm obviously deficient in all vitamins and minerals needed for healthy growth which I think has affected my development. My height hasn't increased since I was fourteen and it's annoying because I ride a motorbike (125cc which is one up from a moped) and would like to progress onto bigger bikes but unfortunately the seat height increases too which means I can touch the floor or some of them. I have also become really self- conscious about my breasts which are a 34B because they are quite small for my age (in my opinion anyway). I know it sounds stupid but I'm going to be eighteen soon and will be classed as an adult/woman, the trouble is, I don't feel like a woman because normally during the age of 15-17 girls get curves or a 'womanly figure' which for me in non-existent.

Overall I was just wondering if growth hormone therapy could be used to increase my height...and maybe other things haha. I've tried vitamin supplements and eating more is not an option because literally all fruits and vegetables really don't agree with me. Wow, this is embarrassing. Anyway thank you in advance for any advice :)

  • Did British soldiers go to war then return after a battle?

At any point did soldiers go out to fight in ww2 then come home? If they did could you give me some dates? Also what was the age limit of soldiers because I assumed it was eighteen but have heard that some boys who were sixteen and seventeen pretended to be eighteen so they could sign up. The reason for all this is because I'm writing a story that involves a boy (seventeen or eighteen) goes out to fight in the war then returns. Any extra information will be helpful, for example, where in Britain were they deployed and where did they go to fight etc. Thanks in advance :)

  • What is meant by 'interferes with the ability to comprehend normal speech'?

I'm doing coursework for health and social care and decided to do noise pollution as a preventative measure carried out by an Environmental Health Officer. I'm now on the effects of noise pollution and came across this 'Noise pollution interferes with the ability to comprehend normal speech and may lead to a number of personal disabilities, handicaps and behavioural changes.' I don't quite understand what 'interferes with the ability to comprehend normal speech' means. I know that 'comprehend' means understand but don't know how noise pollution can stop people from understanding speech.

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks in advance :)

  • Missed insurance payment, am I still insured?

There wasn't enough in my bank account the day my insurer (adrian flux) tried to take £40 for my motorbike insurance out so I called up today and got it sorted. She said the payment may take twenty-four hours to go through. In an email I received from them it said 'Please note that unless the payment is made then a cancellation process will take effect and your insurance will be cancelled in around three weeks time.' I haven't been informed that I'm uninsured so does that mean I am insured because I don't want to take my bike on the road unless I'm sure. Thanks in advance :)

  • What is your definition of health?

I'm doing a quick questionnaire for my A level health and social care coursework where we have to discuss health and well being so I was just trying to collect some different peoples perspective on the subject. If you provide your first name and what part of the country you're from I can reference it (you don't have too but it would help).

What is your definition of health? What does it mean to be healthy?

    Thanks in advance :)
