I have a flashdrive that I use for my schoolwork, etc. and every time I plug it in, all this extra stuff, programs, etc. pop up. I just want to use it as portable storage. How do I get rid of the other stuff? I've tried reformatting it, but the U3 programs or whatever just keep popping up. HELP!!!

I've tried several foundations and had the same effect: it comes off almost immediately--even the stuff that says it's supposed to stay on for 16 hours! What am I doing wrong? I'm using moisturizer first, then powder, but as soon as I blow my nose, there's makeup all over the kleenex! Help!

They were nothing alike! The movie was way better. The book was yes, more realistic; but honestly this was the first time the movie was better. The book bored me to tears.

I've only read Twilight and New Moon (so no spoilers please!) but I really thought that New Moon was so much darker than Twilight. Did anyone else agree? I mean, I re-considered reading the rest of the series. Does it get better? I'm about some suspense, adventure, and more Edward, but I just want to know if it gets better.

On a side note, at the end of New Moon I was disgustedwith Bella. I mean, get it together girl! Yea it's sad your guy left but stuff happens! Man up! Life goes on! I guess I was really just hoping for a heroine with some more backbone.

But yes, I was thrilled he came back. :)

But he's picky about the earpeice...he doesn't like earbuds. Is there a bluetooth out there that isn't "in-ear" and that's affordable that I could find for him before Christmas?

I went to a bachelorette party at Macaroni grill a few weeks back and had this great lemonade mixed drink with lemoncello and a few other things in it. Does anyone know how to make it or have a recipe for it? I'd love to make it. It was seriously amazing. Thanks!

I was watching MTV on Tuesday and was appalled. First I was appalled by the subliminal advertising that interrupted my trashy-show watching "PLEASE GO VOTE NOW. Love, MTV" but then what got me was the scrolling text that asked "Why did you go vote" and they asked for your name, age and location when texting in. What I don't understand was why 12 year old's answers were published on television for all to see. They are ineligible to vote in this election, and they can't even vote in the next election!? WHY on God's green earth should we care what they have to say about politics?! They're not even old enough to have taken a civics OR government class! WTF?

I know that this may offend some 12 year olds out there and I'm sorry. But honestly...don't you have to be 13 to be on Yahoo Answers anyways?

Let's just say (God forbid) that Obama was assassinated. Would Biden take his place? Also, would it matter if the assassination was before or after the electoral college vote in December? What if it was before, and what if it was after? How do we know what we would do? Is it in the Constitution?

My best friend is getting married next month and I'm the maid of honor. I have no idea what to say during the toast. She and I have been friends since high school, but most of the time we've been friends it's been long-distance.

Are there some token things that I should say during the toast?

Should you be up-front about it (let's say you're dating online--should you put it in your profile?), or wait until you get to know the person, go on a few dates and then reveal the news?

I'm trying out the online dating thing because I'm having a hard time meeting people my age that's not somewhere like a bar (I work at a church, that's not going to work so well) and I'm concerned that it'll turn people off. At the same time, will a guy feel taken advantage of if he knows that he's taken me out on a few dates and that I'm not just going to "put out?" Help!

I've tried burning my iTunes onto a DVD-R and that didn't work because my Mac kept kicking the DVD back out. I've tried the same process listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1329?viewlocale=en_U... however nothing shows up in my iTunes after transferring the stuff into my music folder onto the Mac....I'm getting really frustrated. HELP!!!!

My current iTunes library is on my work laptop and I'd like to switch it to my personal Mac. A friend told me that I should back up iTunes on my PC and then put the CD's in the Mac and it'll transfer. Will that work? My library is on my iPod Touch, would it be easier to just plug my touch into the Mac? Help!

I have a cordless phone in my one bedroom apartment and it gets static sounding every time I have an incoming call. Unfortunately because my apartment is so small and because other people have electronics nearby as well, there's not a really good spot for my phone that's away from other electronics. Is there a good cordless phone for that situation so that I am static free? I do have DSL and a filter. It's not the line because a corded phone works fine.

I posted a piece of furniture on Craigslist and had three people email me about it: One asked if it was still available, so I gave her my number and said to call me (which she hasn't). Another emailed it but said they couldn't pick it up or pay for it in a week and a half and I told her I'd hold it for her unless the first girl calls me and can pick it up before. THEN I get another email from someone interested in the chair. So if the third person can pick it up before the second one does she get it? This is my first time using craigslist. Help!

How would we do that? Spray them with polyurethane? Has anyone tried this and had it work?

My grandparents were married for 63 years. Four days after their anniversary my grandmother passed as a result of her cancer treatments. She was diagnosed on Mother's day weekend. My grandfather is completely lost without her. Have you ever seen the movie the Notebook? That was them in real life. Anyways, he's in no state of mind to answer any cards. Luckily, he lives with his daughter (my mom) who can answer the cards. Is it proper to respond to sympathy cards with a "thank you for your sympathy" card? Or should it go unacknowledged?

Also due to his emotional state and there not being any urgency (she was cremated), we have not made plans for a memorial service. How do we explain this to relatives and friends that want to pay their respects, and how do we offer them an alternative for the few weeks between now and then while we make arrangements to relocate him and plan a service?
