For two years we have been receiving phone calls and when we answer, no one appears on the line. When we call back the number it just rings and rings..

We think it is a phone booth but are unsure. We have tried every reverse "Free" site available to obtain the owner or address, but every site wants money and then they won't guarantee all of the info. Does anyone know of a totally FREE site to find out this information? By the way, when you look it up on white pages.com it will give you a vicinity and we have gone to every phone booth in the area and no luck... Please help....Here is the number: 858-483-6009

Here's the deal. Steps to the sand and beach and my best friend has his expensive computer processor sitting on the floor 12 inches from a sliding glass door that is open most of the time.. this can't be too good for it correct? Salty air, damp nights, etc? If he won't move it, is there something that can be put around or on top of it so that it protects the inside from corrosion? He also has his new Plasma sitting there too. So far it seems to be ok. Help with this please. What will happen?

CL use to be a great place to sell or give away stuff. But lately I have been dealing with so many flakes.. They promise they are on their way over, they want you to please hold the item you are selling, then they don't call, never show up as promised, and leave you hanging.? I have had many people ask me if I would give it to them cheaper before they have even seen it in person.. UNReal.... Then they decide they don't want it anyways.. I practicaly give everything away even if it is new and worth several hundred dollars.. Have any of you experienced this? Does it kinda give you a bad taste and want to jack up the prices just so you don't have to sell it to that weirdo? Give me your thoughts... I have been stood up all day by way to many folks who were on their way over to look and buy??

So, on the front page of Yahoo home news they show the winning ugly dog.. this poor disadvantaged dog who has only 3 legs and one eye... I think it is sick that they would even put him in this contest.. Poor thing... I don't find him ugly at all.. what are your views? Is this right?

The cone they gave me is way too big everywhere. No others available so I need any suggestions for an alternative so that he won't take out his stitches? Help. Any suggestions on this subject would greatly be appreciated.. Thanks.

I am buying a Panasonic Hdtv Plasma at Frys tomorrow. I have noticed that the 42", 46", etc each have at least 4 different sets per size.. Confusing? To say the least. They all range from 1500.-2200. And the new models are $3300.

Trying to figure out what I need is not easy. One Tv has 3 hdmi imputs, surround sound, two speakers, viera link, but it cost way more.. On two models they have left some of these out.

What I want to know is what should I buy? I will eventually watch some movies but what are the necessities that I need most.. How many imputs? Viera Link? anti reflective vs. anti coating?.. Help????

She is not the lady I thought she was... At her age and with all the money she has, why even bring it up? Apparently she doesn't care what impact this will have on the senator's family? I have a room mate who a few years ago was my boyfreind. We do not engage in any sex. And I cannot pursue a new man with him living here. He has no goals or education to get a good job. There is no work in his field so no money coming in.

He gets irritated easily, plays the blame game, believes he does no wrong, expects but doesn't ask for a friging thing, throws a fit when you ask him something negative that he has done or broken of yours, will never admit a mistake and says its your fault, takes advantage of you, doesn't respect you or your home, and he won't move or leave?

Calling the police is something I won't do... I tryed to buy him a one way ticket out of here and he won't budge... Yeah i am being taken advantage of for what little he gives back.

In a way it is a love/hate relationship but the stress is't worth it.

Will he ever change? (age50) .

I was visiting a friend for a couple of weeks in San Antonio. She had only moved there 3 years prior.

We did just about everything there was for a tourist to do.

When I questioned her about the majority of people living there were Mexican she immediately corrected me by saying, "You never call them Mexicans, they want to be called "Latinos."

She also said "from Sept-March is the only time you can wear black."

Of course it was in April when I visited and everything I brought with me was black. In Calif. there are no rules to color and we call a Mexican a Mexican. Do you think they feel or are looked upon better by being called a Latino? And as far as the dress code goes? What is your opinion about this?

My friend was serious and she took me shopping to buy light colored clothes... It wasn't even hot outside.

Please clue me in or give your opinion on these two subjects..

my best girlfriend of 25 years has a problem of picking up things that don't belong to her. Little things.... Nothing of importance or of great value.. Sure she is a thief in most eyes and I have caught her and allowed her to remain my friend.. But only after she admitted she did take from me. After a year I have been able trust her once again until the other day when she once again stole from me. This time it had value.. What she did was take a product and then replace it with cheaper ingredients... I had enough evidence to give her grief and she admitted it again.. I haven't spoken to her for a week. I am really torn between the friendship and finding it hard to say GOODBYE. My other friends say, " you don't need her in your life." She will always steal ....

What would you do? How do you get over this? Do you think she just cannot stop stealing, borrowing, or ? Please help.

I heard on a tv show this morning that American Idol might be sending back a recent kick off or Wild Card? Who do you think it will be?

Every4-8 years we have to elect a new one... Why? I feel the President in office should stay and finish what he starts..

Therefore said... These 3 hopefulls have their own gameplans depending on who is elected. Do any of you actually believe that they will accomplish a better way for us to live? Health care for everyone or some of us who can't afford it? Do you feel these three are the best choices? And why aren't there more choices?
