Il mio Kobo Aura si è improvvisamente bloccato quando l'ho acceso questa mattina, e non riesco a resettarlo definitivamente, dato che appena cerco di accedere alle impostazioni si blocca. Che faccio? Posso ancora ripararlo o è ora di comprare un nuovo lettore ebook?

I'm trying to find out the name of a song that was played in a recent horror movie trailer, and it's a choir of children singing what I think is the word 'la' various times like this: 'lala-lala-lala-lala-lallalallala...' Does anyone know it?

Ho visto 'Bastardi Senza Gloria', e in una scena alla fine (non dico quale per non fare spoiler) c'era la bellissima 'Un Amico' di Morricone. Cercando un pò in rete ho scoperto che la canzone, dalla colonna sonora di 'Revolver', del 1973, ha anche un testo, ma non riesco a trovarlo da nessuna parte. Ho sentito una versione della canzone, cantata in Francese. E' l'unica versione o ce n'è anche una completamente italiana?

Questa mattina ho allacciato il box del digitale terrestre a Savona (vivo vicino all'uscita dell'autostrada) e sono riuscito a prendere Rai 1, 2, 3, 4, Gulp, 2000Sat, La7 e PrimoCanale. Niente Canale 5, Italia 1 o Rete 4. Poi sono spariti La7 e PrimoCanale ed ora non c'è segnale per Rai 1, 2, 3, 4. Che cosa sta succedendo? C'è copertura a sprazzi? Sono criptate?

I don't have an IPhone and sincerely, I wouldn't buy it even if I did, since the movie was AWFUL, but I'm pretty curious. I just hope it ends with her dead.

I mean, he just HAD to go poke the sleeping demon, didn't he? And I must say I'm completely and utterly disappointed in PA; they promised me a scary movie and what did I get? Paranormal Stupidity, that's what! Horribly written, not suspenseful and with an ending that made me scream... in anger. Oh, and I hope Katie won't come back. EVER. Once was enough.

I mean, I don't hate it, but I certainly didn't find it the masterpiece everyone thought it was. And since I saw 'Dark City' I definitely thought back on it and only remembered an action movie pretending to be sci-fi, and doing a pretty poor job at that. It's still cool, though. But it seems that to some, preferring 'Dark City' is a SIN...

Mi è venuta l'idea leggendo l'articolo della homepage, che invece di sottolineare i lati positivi scatena il catastrofismo più bieco. Che cosa ne penserebbero le donne se succedesse il contrario?

Ho letto il primo e ho dovuto fare un Alfieri per finirlo, quindi ho Bignamato gli altri libri. Spazzatura senza alcun valore positivo, e anzi disgustevole nella romanticizzazione dell'abuso sulle donne, lo stalking (Stephenie Meyer... quello che fa Edward Non E' Per Niente Romantico. Io se scopro che una ragazza mi ha guardato dormire per mesi a mia insaputa la denuncio), la pedofilia (gli imprintings di Quil e Jacob), la completa e totale distruzione del personaggio folkloristico del vampiro, trasformato in un cubista glitterato albino che non sa minimamente cosa voglia dire 'vegetariano' e una protagonista insopportabile, ipocrita e snobbetta che odia tutto e tutti, rimprovera le sue compagne di essere superficiali e poi si innamora di Glitter Albino perchè le fa venir le caldane (il che non è superficiale, noooo...) in libri migliori sarebbe l'antagonista, una serie di libri che altro non è che spreco di carta, con fan a cui manca solo la bava alla bocca per sembrare delle rabbiose (ci sarà UNA fan di Twilight sana di mente al mondo, spero!), uno stile di scrittura ampolloso, prolisso quando non deve e viceversa, un plot che consiste di Bella ama Edward perchè è figo (e via 3/4 di libro con Edward descritto manco fosse un'intera mostra al Louvre e inondato di complimenti manco fosse Hugh Jackman), o le sue lamentele piagnucolose perchè Ed l'ha mollata e quindi la sua vita non vale più nulla (modello edificante, Meyer, complimenti vivissimi -_-), o perchè non le piace NESSUN ALTRO a parte la famiglia Glitterata, nemmeno i suoi genitori che tratta con superiorità (una ******* da manuale) e quasi nient'altro (i plot con vampiri malvagi, pericoli ed intrighi sono quasi INESISTENTI)..

Se QUESTO è quello che leggono le giovani d'oggi, mille volte meglio che continuino a mandarsi messaggini!

I have to say I love animals, a lot. But I could never be a vegetarian, even though I love me some vegetables (except for salad, which makes me vomit) and fruits. I like to eat meat, fish and milk/eggs/cheese. Am I still allowed to like animals or am I a hypocrite? I hope I'm not.

Are there any movies in which female characters sacrifice themselves for a male character? Because the opposite way is really tedious...

Mike Vogel said he'd been approached for the sequel. He might be joking, but if he wasn't, how could he get written back into the story (other than a corpse)? I'll have to admit we don't actually *see* him die, but still... In fact, the only two characters who we actually *saw* die and we know are truly dead are Hud and Marlena. But... my question still stands.

I mean, we only see her helicopter take off, not fly away, and I guess the monster hit it as it did with Rob, Beth and Hud's helicopter. Every time I see that part of the movie I know she dies. As for the ones who say she lives, I call a big NO WAY. 'The helicopter SOMEHOW escaped'. NO. NO. NO. It couldn't escape, as the military was idiotically flying RIGHT ABOVE THE MONSTER. Sorry, but Lily is toast.

I mean, in the first book she is whing about this, whining about that, whine, whine, whine. She is a TOTAL MARY SUE - I mean, she has no depth AT ALL. REALLY. I can't bear to keep reading, she is so annoying. If I had her in front of me, I'd wring her pale little arrogant neck. If she's supposed to be, as someone said 'the girl readers would like to be', I NEVER want to meet a fan of Twilight! Besides, she has NO SPINE: she stupidly accepts Ed's abuse and isolating her from her only true friend (Jacob) and she thinks she's so humble when she's even more stuck up than the others!

I watched the first part and didn't manage to catch the second. A detailed resume also could help.

I mean, she's bleeding all over the floor, can barely moan and whine and crawl, she's on her last leg, about to die, yet at the end lets out that HUGE SCREAM? I couldn't buy that. At all. And it made me think, 'Damn, this movie is even cheating itself!' I mean, doesn't the beginning imply that nobody who knows what happened that night lived? That would include Liv. And if she lives, WHY didn't they say so in the beginning?
