Hi! Just want to get other people's opinions on this:

My boyfriend and I are both from New York. Within a few months we will both be graduating with teaching degrees (Both Adolescent - me in Spanish, him in History). I am seriously considering moving South (being from NY I consider it from Virginia down...I know that might not be correct but thats what Im thinking..been highly considering SC).

We plan on getting married and starting a family one day so these are things that are important to us:

Safety/family communities

obviously schools both for teaching and our kids one day

stuff to do outdoors and nightlife (music, restaurants)

dog friendly/dog parks etc.

affordable cost of living

etc.

Cant think of everything right now but I would love any thoughts! Whether you moved there from north or youve lived there your whole life, especially if youre a teacher, etc. Please any thoughts help me! I appreciate it!

Okay here's the info. My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half...we met in college which is still where we are and when we're at school we're together a lot...we always have good times and a lot of fun. All in all its a very loving relationship.

Everything is fine except for my anxiety when we're apart (i.e. on holiday breaks, because he lives about 2 hours away from my house). I have a lot of anxiety, and I'm recently on medicine so I'm hoping it kicks in for winter break which is at the end of this week, but I'm still nervous.

Basically, I'm upset when he leaves me to go home because I miss him and also we have a history with issues with his friends. When he and I were first dating his friends from home were very very rude to me AND to him (they take advantage of him a lot) and they still are and it hurts to know he is going to go home and hang out with them. Don't get me wrong I trust him and I'm not worried he's gonna cheat on me or anything, I just don't know how to control my psycho girlfriend-ness when we're apart. I get to be that very crazy controlling girlfriend and I don't want to do that this time because I want him to have fun and I don't want to fight....

Any suggestions on how I can do this more easily? It's so hard for me...

You know in movies like when the scene is getting intimate there's that old soul song, I think it sounds like a deep black man. It starts like "dum dum dum dum duuuuummmmm" and then its like "I can feel it blah blah blah blahhhhhh." Sorry, I'm not musically inclined. But does anyone know the name of the song and who sings it???

I take medicines and have some stress-related conditions that could cause irregular cycles. I've never been to the gyno but now am worrying because my period still hasn't come and its over 80 days late. I called the gyno and was going to go but they couldn't take me for a few months, and its not convenient because I will be away at school. So I'm not worried since I am always late, and I also have no symptoms, but now I'm wondering, could I be pregnant? A condom has never broken and we've never had unprotected sex. nothing. we're very safe...any ideas?

My bf and I are very much in love... and I see it continuing this way for a long time. That being said, his best friend is a jerk! Let me try to recap everything that has been an issue thus far.....

Well when I first met him everything was fine....about a month into my relationship with my bf his friend (mind you, his girlfriend of 3 years was studying abroad) told me that there was physical connection and if he weren't in a relationship and neither was I he'd want to be with me. That same night, he cheated on his girl friend with my friend.......who happens to work with his girlfriend.....small world...anyway, moving on...

After that he would text me all the time, and when I was with the two of them he would always be around, butting into my relationship.

Next thing....I was a little tipsy at a party (the first time I met all their friends from home) and I was a little stupid, he said I was immature. Fair enough. However, that same weekend he made plans to hang out with me, my boyfriend and his 10yr old brother, then bailed last minute with all their other friends too...(as I can tell he's done this to my bf before). So he deleted me on facebook, which is rude.

Then we had a party and he came, so I was introducing him to people he didn't know, making him a plate of food, helping him basically. He got upset at the game (it was superbowl) and said he was leaving. I stuck up for my boyfriend (as i usually do, cause he's a great guy) and said he should stay since he hardly ever sees his friend (my bf) and came all the way to see him.....well, he called me a c***.

So basically ever since then I've been dodging him like the plague because he's so rude and talks **** about me and my bf a lot, and it's not worth it. Now, he's been rude to my boyfriend too, in the time that I've known him. But my boyfriend says he's not always like that, and he was there for him as a bestfriend when they were kids and whatever.

I think he was jealous (esp. since his gf was overseas) but it's not fair to me! It makes it so hard to be around any of their friends because I feel so targetted (also, I'm the only person not from their area...all the other couples and friends grew up together, so I can't help but feel a little uncomfortable).

Help please! I can't take it anymore! I'm not gonna let this continue until he's the best man calling me a b**** on our wedding day! Advice? :(

Tell me if I'm crazy, but I've finally found THE ONE. We've been dating for 6 months and we both know we will marry each other (don't judge..when you know, you know). Obviously, I don't want to get engaged now....but is it nuts to want a promise ring?

A question for my descriptive astronomy course...Has something to do with radio waves and wavelengths, but I'm not sure!

I just started seeing a new guy (we're not dating, we're basically "friends with benefits") and the first three times we "hung out" we ended up doing stuff (kissing which led to foreplay which led to sex). Last night we hung out again and we were really just talking and hanging out but he started again. We knew we couldn't have sex again because we just didn't have enough time, so I thought that some oral would do the trick....bad mistake. I realize that "all guys are different" but I'm usually good with that kind of stuff, but I just couldn't get him to finish. I could tell he was enjoying it and a few times I really thought he was going to finish, but he just didn't..even after like 30 minutes. Any tips? I need some "hand" and some "oral" tips because I like using the two together and he is just not like other guys I've been with. I feel like I'm horrible or stupid for not being able to do this.

I have a gift card with a set amount of money on it (it has plenty of money to cover the room, none of it has been used yet, i got it for a gift). It is from my local bank, but it is not associated to a name, as I said it was a gift. My question is can I use it to reserve a hotel online? I am looking into a Days Inn, and they ask for a credit card number etc, so would that suffice? Also, I'm 18. can I legally book a hotel room?

I was taking out a tampon and it wasn't coming out easily. I stuck my fingers inside to get it out and realized a piece of skin or something like that which kind of looked like a rubberband had wrapped around the tampon...Is that normal?? If i hadnt noticed that i probably would have yanked it out. Is that skin supposed to be there?

My 1st boyfriend and I have been going out almost a year. Its really abusive and hes always mean to me and honestly i just dont like him anymore, but he wont go away. Should I break up with him?

Secondly i have a really good guy friend who ive been friends with for years and he has a girlfriend. but I really really like him. He knows this. How can i get them to break up?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost a year, and we've always had some troubles. We used to always fight, then it got better, then we fought a lot, now its settling down. Its still not perfect, and no where near how I'd like it or deserve it to be, but it is what it is I guess. My question is mostly about me though. If I'm busy with something else and he cant come, he usually does nothing. Sometimes he asks a friend over or goes out with guy friends. I always assure him its ok and he should hang out with his friends (I want him to be busy while I go out with my family or wherever I have to go). But (heres my faulty part) if he doesnt call me when hes out with his friends, I get mad! or if he calls me/I call him and he's with his friends I usually get mad and hang up. why do I do this? I mean I told him to go there, I knew where he was, and then I get pissed off. How can I change my attitude? I dont want any stress or fights between us, i just cant help feel like he likes his friends better than me when he hangs out with them and doesnt call me to say hi.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 10 months. He says he loves me, all that stuff. However, I am very unsatisfied with my figure. He says im perfect and he likes how I am but i feel fat. (im only 16, im not huge but i could lose a few pounds). Could he secretly think im fat and not want to tell me??

Also, I read in a magazine something that if a girls not comfortable with her body, it shows when shes in bed. Could that be true? I know If i felt better about myself I could probably give better sex. But then again i have no clue. Im so confused. help me ;(
