This isn't so much a question as an answer that I want to record on here, so its searchable and others can find it. After upgrading my Dell dimension 4700 from xp to windows 7 the audio wouldnt work, solution is to start device manager, select the sound video and games controllers, soundmax, right click, uninstall, then click on the top level ie (your PC name right click) and select scan for hardware change, reinstalls drivers, then works fine.

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove Fiat Doblo door trim (2006). I want to replace the speakers. I have removed the two allen bolts under th door rest and the cross head screw under the door release handle, and the mirror screw but there must be something else holding it on. Thanks

I've just installed this bt vision thing that they inisted i have. Even on standby the box is very active the hard drive is spinning. It must be very power hungry, I'm not sure I can live with the noise. Any other views?

Sir Paul McCartney is hoping to rename the London Eye in his honour to promote a new DVD, it has been claimed.

The Beatles legend releases "The McCartney Years" later this year, and wants to use one of the UK's most famous landmarks to support the media campaign.

The battery in my 2002 Audi A4 2.0 was flat last night after being parked for 4 hours. There are no interior lights stuck on and it had a good long run yesterday so it suggests the 70Ah battery is failing. What battery life is normal as its only 5 years old? Thanks

2002 Audi A4, the door speakers keep cutting out and crackling. Its a real pain, but audi would charge hundreds to even look at the problem, does anyone know what the problem is, how to fix please.

Ive got some big tv sets that work fine but are effectively obsoleteted by flat screens, if I take them down the dump, are they recycled or land filled?

Just quoting from Richard Dawkins book titled 'The God Delusion' George Bush is quoted as having said 'No I don't know that athiests should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.' This is only one account (Robert Shermans journalist) of what Mr Bush said so dont get too wound up about it, but I just wondered if religion is part of being American?. Just substitue the word 'athiest' with 'Jews' or 'Blacks' to see how discriminatory that statement was/is. Is there room for non believers in America?

Ok tax them, make them more expensive compared to flurescents, but to ban them entirely? What about vacuum tubes, or christmas tree lights, ornamental bulbs and car lights. Will I get arrested for passing a current through a wire so it glows? What happens to manufacturers of incandescent light bulbs, do they just have to go out of business.
