This temp job, in my specialty (not easy to find) doesn't have high pay, in fact living frugally will take most of what I earn, but it will be great experience. I have some other income from my home state, my historic residence where I maintain a home and will return. I am looking at M&IE standard deduction and apartment rent as deductible items, even though I will probably not actually spend that much on meals. I'm wading through pub. 463, but was hoping for a quick and dirty answer from a knowledgeable person.

I'm reading it now and enjoying it very much. If you can reccommend other books along these topics also..please do!

How can two see cultures interpret "the absence of desire" so differently? Which do you see it as..

I'm having trouble getting a job in my field so I took a position for the summer I'm overqualified for. My coworkers are of different demographic/education level. Their behaviour is sometimes unreasonable and they behave as if I'm not trustworthy...by the way I must share a drawer with some of these people, I am not informed of it being in (or out) of balance. I feel as if my education, reputation and everything are being risked to make a few dollars (which are handy and making ends meet) but I could do with out..dipping into savings/retirement.

Am I paranoid?..no supervisor has spoken to me of a problem.

I found a bat on its back, appearing unable to move around..but alive. I wrapped it in a towel, put it in an old parakeet cage..and now it's in a comfortable bat position sleeping from the top of the cage. It's supposed to be 27 F tonight...should I try to release him tonight, let him sleep through the cold spell? or.....he was making clicking noises, is coppery/buffy color and small (3 inches..hanging legnth) maybe and Eastern Pipistrelle? I called the wildlife people and could only leave a message, emailed a bat conservation group...just waiting on answers.

Composting toilets, cycle or treadmill electrical generation, solar cells, windmills, rainwater catchment..other similar items. Whether you have success to share or problems to beware, please enlighten me.

I have a house trained dog in a household of females. It is a foster home and I'm searching for adoptive parents. A couple came to see him and and within a few minutes the dog went over and marked the man. I have had other male guests in the house and not had this problem before. Did the dog like them or not?

Any living language will evolve somewhat...but we control the rate. So uniformity would give us the most continuity over time and space..while diversity found regionally or among cultural groups form the beginnings of new languages if diversion continues may be important cohesive factor for that group...which is more important?

I had no problem with this until recently, it went into acrobat automatically...I don't know what I did to mess things up.

I have two large dogs and it dosen't seem right to put it in plastic non-biodegradable grocery bags and send it to the dump. I want something non-smelly (as much as possible considering it's poop) that dosen't cost much money.
