Dishwasher Staines on glassware?
Hi folks
Do you know of any way to remove staines on glassware made by a dishwasher. Don't know if they are as a result of the salt, heat, detergent or something else... but I would LOVE to know how to get rid of them.
We've used decent washing tablets, dishwasher salt and rinse aid, all with no lessening effects. This happens to good glassware that is meant to be dishwashed safe!
Also - any idea how to prevent the staines in future?
Help!!
5 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoMeeting my team for the first time?
Tomorrrow, I am being introduced (as manager) to my new team. Any sensible suggestions on what to say in my introduction speech? Plus what NOT to say?
I have managed several different teams over the last 8+ years but I've always known them first.... this will be the first time I will be going in "blind"....
Thoughts welcome
thank you

There's a guy at work who regularly smells... not really BO - more like a "dank" smell - perhaps from not drying his clothes properly... his co-workers regularly talk about him but no one wants to raise the subject - not even his manager! What would be a good way to let him know?
40 AnswersFriends1 decade agoAlgae on fish tanks - keeps coming back!?
Ok, ok, I know it's all natural etc but there must be a good way to control it....
I have a cold water tank - about 40 litres with 3 small fish (present for my 2 year old daughter). It has a pump and gravel (and a plant) but after about a week, the algae return...
I have a magnetic scraper - works ok for about 2 days
I've tried these A--B compound liquids - no apparent difference (although I was probably a bit woolly on following the instructions...
I've tried these tea-bag things (something about nitrates??)
Anyway - ideas welcome!!!
24 AnswersFish1 decade agoShould Christians blindly ignore Science?
I am a Christian but get VERY annoyed when I hear other Christians be dogmatic about their opinions - especially in areas like science...
Discounting other (usually highly intelligent) people's work without even taking the time to try and understand it, makes Christians look ignorant and limited... not surprising that some people look at Christianity as a crutch for the weak (which it is not!!)...
Take the "Big Bang Theory" as an example... statistically incalculable odds that these events took place... so why can't this be the miracle of God's Creation??
Can parts of Science and Religion acually compliment each other if done so with discernment and Godly assistance?
26 AnswersOther - Science1 decade agoBecome a Christian having moved away from another religion?
Have you become a Christian having being brought up or heavily involved in another religion - possibly because of original social or parental influences etc..
If so - what were your main reasons? What did Christianity offer you that existing religions did not?
Or - have you moved away from practising Christianity into another practising religion? If so, why?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAm I being bugged?
Although not usually a person who suffers from paranoia, we have reason to suspect we may be being "bugged" (ie, someone recording our conversations) in the office. Not from managers etc but from a disgruntled coworker... How can I find out?

Anyone got any good ideas for a way to spend 4 hours or so, on Saturday evening for my 6 year wedding anniversary. Still recovering (financially) from summer holidays so it needs to be cheap. Mum is baby sitting so we have from 7pm - middnight...

Hello, I manage 40+ Customer Support Engineers and although the roles are typically office based, many people are asking to work from home for 1-5 days per week. The main "down side" to this is that even with all the technology available to us today, the teams become dispersed and get used to working in isolation. Engineers loose the ability to "turn around and ask" each other questions etc.
What is the right balance? What do you say to a senior engineer who wants to work from home permenantly who doesn't see the need/value from working next to their team?
Are there consultants etc that can breakdown the role and give objective advice both to managers and engineers alike?
