O.k, Heres the issue.... I went to upgrade my desktop tower to windows XP Pro, and during the installation it asked for the registration number, i then noticed that the disk had some damage over the last part of the registration number, so needless to say, the instalation was incomplete. All i want to do is revert back to my old driver so I can use my computer again, but i cannot uninstall the half installed XP pro. The comp wont let me even Acess safemode or do a system restore because of thios...any suggestions on how I can reclaim my computer?

I have 1 Home desktop, and 2 lap-tops that run off of my router. My Network is unsecure, and I always have alot of people tapping into my network, which slows the computers down, and also my router can only support up to five computers at one time. As soon as more than two people try to acess my network..it resets the router and boots all the computers from the internet, and i have to reset my modem and my router. So I was on one of my laptops, and i changed the router settings to be a secure network, and i set a password. The problem is that as soon as i did that..the laptop disconnected from the network...and now when i try to re-establish the connection, instead of asking me for the password for the network...it tells me that the settings of the laptop are different from the settings of the router! How can I get my laptop reconnected to my now secure network so it will be able to get online again? Also, i tryed several system restores..it didnt work. HELP PLEASE!!!

I have a friend who recently embraced Islam, and is currently incarerated. He's having a difficult time dealing with his incarceration. He is in the south, and happens to be the ONLY Muslim in his part of the jail,and is slipping from his Deen. Does anyone know any inspirational Hadith or Qu'ran quotes that I could send him to help him through this rough time for him? I dont want him to lose his faith. Also, anyone know of maybe a site or something that will send him a free Kufi or Zicker beads?

I am 29 yrs Old and ten years ago, i was separated from my then Fiance when she gave birth to My Daughter, Anastasia. About a month and a half after she was born, I was notified by her Family that my Daughter had died in her crib from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. I was distraught and I joined the Military shortly after to get my life and mind back into working order. Ten years later, I re-established contact with my baby's mother, and she gave me some news that I didn't quite know how to take. She told me that we were too young at the time to take care of a baby, so she had her family lie to me and tell me my Daughter was dead because she felt it was the only way I wouldn't try to intervene. She wrote unknown father on the child's birth certificate and gave her to a family that resides in Alabama. Now she wrote me recently and insinuates that I haven't been around for the last ten years, and told me if I contact her again, she will block my e-mails. I am having alot of trouble coping with this very hard and awkward situation. Any advice on how I can better deal with this? I cannot afford therapy.

My Birthday is and always has been in March,and I have yet to remember any Easter besides this one being near my birthday. Some people blame it on leap year, but if I remember correctly, Easter is usually around April 14th, How could one extra day effect the calender by three weeks?

I was just wondering, how is data stored in cyberspace. I mean, there's no way that a website such as myspace has the capacity to store half a billion profiles that contain photos and music on its own hard drive. There must be Billions of megabites of info that needs to be stored for the internet to work..So how DO they store all that info?

I have an iclick 8.0, and I spent three hours trying to synch music from my Windows Media Player to it. Every time after it finished synching, and told me I could diconnect the device..the lcd read "No file". How can I put music on it?? Also, I rebooted my comp with the device still attached, and now the lcd reads "Dos Error" How can I get it to go back to normal??

O.K...I need an answer...I have been celebate now for a whole year and a half. It's not that I can't get any, it's just that I'm not a man whore. Why is it that alot of people..especially women...treat that to be a bad thing, and like I'm some sort of freak because of it???? (I think it makes me respectable.)

I have netscape navigator and I want to clean up my history so no snoopers can check what sites i've been going to..anyone know how?
