I have a 2001 Volvo S40, I do not have a FOB to unlock my car and just use the key. I had a new key made about 3 months ago. But have always had difficulty locking and unlocking the car. My key will get stuck in the door lock when I try to lock it from the outside. So I started locking it from the inside door panel. Tonight the drivers side door would not lock. The rest of the car locked except the drivers side door. I continued to try the door lock panel in the car and it would not lock. I finally got out and used my key. The key became stuck and when I was able to unstick it from the outside lock it would unlock the car again. I was finally able to lock the door and get the key out of the lock. They key only becomes stuck in the lock position, not the unlock position. (so I can't turn it from the locking the key to releasing the key)

I am wondering what is the reason behind this happening, and what can I do to repair the lock? I never got the FOB because I know I have to go to the dealership and I don't want to pay a ton of money to have a FOB. Please help...and please be as detailed as possible. Thank you!!

I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX coupe. I had an after market radio installed when I got the car and had no problems with it. About a year ago I upgraded my after market radio to a Kenwood KDC-152. My radio started going into "Protect" mode. I was able to do a hard reset and it started working. But now it remains in protect mode.M y keyless entry happened to go out shortly around the same time I started having radio issues. My original Honda radio is dropped down in my dash so I could keep my keyless entry. So I figured something happened to that, but it is still working and is still fine. So I checked my fuses which none of them were blown. I pulled the radio out and all the wiring is still intact and looks good. I tried to reprogram my keyless entry. I did the cycle of the locks and it was clicking in the doors, but nothing. The remote works and it still beeps like it should be unlocking but the doors don't lock or unlock. The interesting thing is that my check engine light came on around the time my doors and radio stopped working. My mechanic checked it but couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, and informed me that my distributor cap needed replacing. So do to not having money the check engine light has remained on. Until today when I tried to reprogram my keyless entry remote. During the clicking of the remote the check engine light went off. So my question...has anyone heard of this and what can I do to fix it and what is the problem? I really miss listening to music.

So my roommate tells me he thinks we have bed bugs. I have no problems or even noticed any bites or anything. But he said he cleaned his room and found a trail of 10 and set them all on fire. So I notified our manager and she told me she would send someone out to look. Again I have had no problems. So I changed my sheets and bagged my mattress just to be safe and sprinkled diatomaceous earth around my bed and on my box springs. So last Sunday I woke up and noticed one bite under my arm. I showed it to my mom and she didn't think it could be bed bugs. I have had no bites all week and then this morning I wake up with a bite on my forearm. I searched my body and saw no other bites and then searched my bed for any signs of bed bugs. Nothing....I vacuumed my room and then re-sprinkled the diatomaceous earth around my bed and behind my bed. I texted my roommate to ask what the pest control guy said. So according to my roommate the pest control guy told him to move the furniture around in his room and vacuum. That was it nothing else.

So now I'm stuck wondering if we really have bed bugs, if the pest control guy is coming back to spray, and if when my roommate re-arranaged his room if stirred them up and now they are traveling to my room.

We have lived in this apartment for 4 years with no problems and I didn't have any problems before the past two weeks. Any clue if they are bed bugs and any thing else I can do to stop them?

So about 2 weeks i was getting ready to go out with friends and right before I left my lower back started to hurt. I assumed it had something to do with my period due to it starting a few days later. The problem was the back pain was so intense I couldn't sleep and barely could walk.

So I started my period and suffered thru the back pain all the while and it didn't get better, I don't normally have back pain as a symptom of my period. I was taking Advil to just sleep at night. The pain got better but it still hurt. Then it got worse again, I used a heating pad and it felt like all the pain is on my left side.

I finally called the doctor to get into urgent care and got an appointment. The Dr prescribed me ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer (zanaflex). Its been 3 days and it feels like its not helping. My back still hurts after I take the muscle relaxer and the ibu. When I lay down it is so painful I can barely get back up.

Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong or should I wait a few more days before I contact the doctor?

My dad is trying to wire a electric cook top...it has three wires (black, red, and copper). His junction box has four wires (black, red, white and copper). He first wired the black to black, red to red and copper to copper, he capped the white wire in the junction box. The cook top did not work. Then he connected the white wire with the two copper wires, and the cook top now works. So the question is will this connection work or will it cause a problem? And if it causes a problem what can he do to resolve it?

I just brought a dvd player with an hdmi port. My laptop only has a vga port. From what I have researched I need a converter in order to use these two different ports. Bit my question is will it work to use my laptop thru my dvd player to watch videos from my laptop or will I need to do somethong else to connect it so it plays on my tv (which only has an s-cable).

So for Thanksgiving my grandma left us little quotes around the table and made us read them all out loud. Well my mom ended up with one that has one struck me as odd to have at Thanksgiving and two made me curious as to where my grandma found it. I don't know if the quote is completely right but if you have heard of it can you please let me know who said it. It's been bothering me since Thanksgiving.

We have been teaching the girls at work how to crochet. Now I learned a different way to make a blanket (using rows) but one of my co-workers showed them how to make it in a round way. Sort of like a granny square. I wasn't paying attention (my fault) and now I want to know to make one. My biggest problem is starting the blanket. I know how to go around after it's been started but I need to know how to start it.

From what I was told it's chain 12 then slip stitch to make a circle. Then 12 around the original 12. And that's where I'm lost.

I know once the blanket gets started its 3 double crochets and then 6 in the corner. But that's the easy part. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about and can give me a pattern it would be great.

Someone broke the mirror and mechanical feature on my side view mirror. I finally ordered an aftermarket one but it didn't come with instructions. I'm looking for a way to install it myself.

So I read this book sometime last year. I wanted to recommend it to a friend but I can't remember the name or the author. I checked it out from the library and I can't remember who wrote it. It was about this teenage boy who went to the provence with his dad who is a famous photographer. He goes exploring and goes to this cathedral and meets this girl who is about his age. The end up being chased by this guy with a bald head who tells them they need to leave and never come back.

So then later on the boy and the girl go to this cemetery and they see this ceremony going on. The girl almost gets possessed by this ancient woman but instead it ended up being an assistant to the teenage's boy dad. The rest of the book involved the boy trying to stop the two ancient guys from finding the woman.

It has werewolves and vampires in it, I think the woman was a vampire and the bald guy was a werewolf. And at the end of the book we find out that the boys family was somehow involved in it and it was important that all this happened with the boy.

I remember the lady that possessed the assistant had red hair. If that helps any. Does anyone know the name of this book?

I work in a residential setting for youths (12-17). The program is very structured and has lots of consequences for big things like property destruction etc. But we are allowed to give them written consequences for certain things like talking in line, or disrespecting staff.

I worked in this field before and some of the best written consequences that I saw people just came up with. They weren't the same ones that everyone else used. And I would like to try that. There are only so many times when you can do the essay "why I should follow staff directions".

My question is does anyone have any ideas on how to come up with different types of written consequences or a website that might be helpful. I just need some helpful ideas so I can become creative with this type of consequence.

This past weekend my laptop would not connect to our wireless internet. It took over an hour and a half to get it to connect. I didn't have this problem for two days but then it started it up again today. The computer in the kitchen was having the same problem. So I turned mine off and left it, it started working in the afternoon but then stopped again at night. My bedroom is one room away from the router and I have always had an excellent connection. But lately it's been the luck of the draw if I get a connection, sometimes it will connect and then I move an inch and it disconnects and says it can't find any networks around.

I have a Laptop Card by NetGear and I originally got it to help with this problem before. But now it's stopped working and it just flashes because it can't find an network to connect to.

I was going to go to best buy and see what I should buy, but I worry I might end up with something I don't need. I was looking at Laptop Cards again, but also USB adapters.

My question is what should I buy to help with this problem, another Laptop Card or a USB Adapter? My mom's computer where the router is hooked up has no problems and she checked to be sure it's running well. So I don't even know why my laptop is not connecting.

And also is there something I can buy that I could use instead my laptops installed wireless adapter? Could I shut it off and use another adapter to connect to our wireless internet?

The router we have is a Linksys WRT300N.

I'm having trouble hooking up my DVD player. I have a RF Modulator and an Audio/Video Modulator for my PS2. I hooked my DVD player up like my previous VCR was hooked up and it came on fine and played the DVD fine. But my problem is that the DVD player has the capability of recording from my TV. I tried to set it up but it only took like 6 of the channels I have and they are all snowy when you watch them through the DVD player. My question is how do I set the DVD player up so I can record from the TV and still keep my PS2 hooked up and still be able to watch DVD's?

BTW I have basic cable, no cable box and my TV is a Sanyo and the DVD player is a Sony.

Every time I convert a .avi to a DVD format the file folders for the Video_Ts and Audio_Ts don't show. The file usually shows up as 3 different files under the name OUTPUT and they appear in Windows Media Player.

How can I convert the files so I end up with the Video_Ts and Audio_Ts file folders and what do I need to change so it doesn't turn into a Windows Media OUTPUT file?

BTW I'm using Cheetah Burn, so if I can't change it what OUTPUT file would I need to use?

One of my residents at work is looking for a list of good blues singers who as he described sound like they have been smoking cigarettes forever, deep guttaral voice, playing only the acoustic guitar or slide guitar, deep dark blues. I have a small list going but I needed more artists that might sound something like this. Or any really good blues singers in general.

I have a broadband DSL connection to the internet. I want to get wireless internet, if I buy a wireless router what else do I need to get to get wireless internet? I read somewhere that because we already have broadband we just need to get a router and then we would have wireless internet is that true?

I want to buy a wireless router for my laptop. My question is if I purchase it from somewhere else like bestbuy or meritline will I need a service provider in order to use it or will I just be able to hook it up without it? Also where can I find information about how much it would cost to get one from the service provider?

Right now I'm using a pc card from verizon that belongs to my dad. My computer is equiped with wireless internet and when I stayed at my friends house I used there wireless router to go online. They went through verizon since that is there phone company. So I just need to know do I need to go through AT&T since that is our phone company or should I get another PC card but will I need a service provider.

I'm looking for a hair salon that specializes in african american/black hair in san diego or neighboring cities i.e. El Cajon, La Mesa, Temucula. And if they have a website please post it.
