What role do Librarians and the Library Media Center play in promoting Reading Proficiency in Elementary Schools?

I am interviewing for the open Library Media Center position at the elementary school I have taught at for the last 11 years.

I know there is a fee and some paperwork involved, but if I don't get the job in Florida do I have to transfer my Certificate back to my home state or would my current Certificate still be valid in my state?

I have plunged the drain, and snaked the drain through the overflow pipe. I used a drill powered snake and got well past the P Trap but the drain is still clogged. Any suggestions? How much does someone like Roto-Rooter charge?

I have a job interview and have to take this assessment first. Any details would help greatly.

Something small for a cooler or luggage. I know you can buy kits from Harbor Freight or Northern Tool and then add a solid luggage box, but is there something a little more custom?

I had a Sprint phone filled with ringtones that I got for free from phonezoo.com. I just bought a Samsung Rant and apparently Sprint has made changes to their newer phones that do not allow phonezoo's ringtones to load.

What can I do? I tried downloading them to my computer and then using a USB cable to put them on my phone but couldn't figure it out.

Cheap solutions please. My 1998 Ford Mustang convertible top leaks at the lower right hand corner of the back window. The window is glass, and appears to be sewn? in. Some of the stitching appears to be coming up at that corner, allowing rain to come in. The water accumulates in the portion where the top folds into when the top is down. It is not a problem with weather stripping or sealing.

There's a lot going on in 2012. The Mayan long count calendar ends at the winter solstice (Dec. 21), it's a US election year, there's the Olympics, it's the 100th anniversary of RMS Titanic sinking, near Earth object 433 Eros will pass by, and Nostradamus and other writers have predicted cataclysm including the Prophecy of The Popes, and a possible reversal of Earth's magnetic field. And it's a leap year. Are we doomed?

There have been lots of times where I have come across interesting questions and I think I can help. I carefully compose an answer, sometimes digging out a book to do research FOR THEM, and they choose someone they know to award best answer to. I've noticed that sometimes these friends don't even answer the question that was asked. Am I just being bitter or is this a legitimate question?

As a forward who uses a wrist shot and one timers and rarely uses a slap shot, should I use a stiff flex or medium flex composite stick?
