What's the polite way to tell the massage therapist you don't want to make small talk or conversation during your massage?

I'm looking to become a crane operator, what sort of advice do you have for me? What kind of crane do you operate? What's the best on the job story you have?

My ex (we have a son 2 yoa) asks me to go out to a movie with him, and then takes me for drinks afterwards. I figured he had something major to 'break' to me and didn't want a scene. Nope. It was strangely date like. I did take the opportunity to talk to him about the girl he's always with when he picks up or drops off our son. He finally admits that they are fu<king, but no emotions involved. I told him if it wasn't too much to ask maybe not to include her in his occasional 4 hour visit. I suggested maybe just hanging out with Koen instead of always having his fu<kpile around. He agreed, and tried to get me to talk about our past relationship, reminise if you will. WTF? Why does he feel the need to introduce our child to every woman he bangs? Why does he want to take me out and reminise? He's messing with me again isn't he? He's just trying to hurt me and keep rubbing it in my face? How can I rise above this and not be bothered by him or or our past? I have to see him often, 2-3x/week

Does anyone else think it's weird that when you go on maternity, you only get 50% of your wages. Shouldn't the father's contributions to EI top it up? I mean it takes two to make and raise a baby, plus then the guy could take leave too, or choose to donate his 50% to the mom instead. I just think it's dishonest of the government to deny both parents the same right to be with the baby together instead of one or the other. If it must be one or the other, the benefits should pay to the parent staying home.

Does anyone else get really annoyed with 4 belt loops accross the front of jeans and one in the back. From what I've seen, it's the back that needs 4 loops, the front should have two. Anyone else with me?

If so, where can this be done and how much should it cost?

He has quite a good vocabulary (about 50 words, no (of course), don't, please, thank you, out, up...) and usually follows direction or listens to breif explainations or cause and effect. Occasionally he'd throw screaming fits. No thrashing or anything - just the screaming the screaming! I wanted to go to the doctor and say " look he's already screamed 422 times this morning, what can I do!?" Then it went away, for about the last 3 months, then again in the last 2 weeks it's resurfaced. A new twist is now he'll try to scream as loud and long as possible, it's ridiculous, he's purple and I can't help but laugh to myself and say I can't believe I'm this woman. We do the time out thing - only a minute at a time.
