  • My perfectly healthy cat has to be put down?

I adopted a stray cat about a year ago, against the agreement with my landlord, and he recently found out about it.

She had kittens 8 weeks ago and I have them here to.

My landlord says they have to go today, and I spent all day trying to find a no kill shelter, but they are all full.

The shelter that I am taking them to told me they would be put down the day I brought them in because of over-crowding, and now the cat that I have grown so fond of only has hours to live as do her three 8 week old kittens.

I have no idea of what to do.

It's tearing me up inside to have her look at me and meow, and follow me around and it's also tearing me up to watch her kittens wrestling around and playing, not knowing that soon they'll all be dead.

I've asked all my friends if they want them or if they know anyone who does but they say they have no idea, and they don't want them themselves.

I guess I have to take them to their deaths but it's really messing my mind up.

    What would you do?

If I keep them I get evicted, if I take them to the shelter they die. Sucks to be me today.

  • I'm freaking out and sick....what to do..?

Just found out that my niece and her husband and two of his friends lured some guy to their house and beat him up, knocked him out with a cement statue, stabbed him 37 times, then cut his genitals and head off.

They told him they were going to have 3 way sex, and lured him into the house.

They robbed him and bought beer with the money, took his body parts out into the country and asked a farmer if they could bury something in his field.

He got suspicious and called the cops who found them burying the body.

Last time I saw her she was about 7, small petite and a sweet little girl.

Now my family is being ridiculed and threatened with death, and I am sick.

This is NOT a joke, I'm drunk now and very serious. I don't know what to do.

She got 55 years in prison and each of they guys involved got 60 years, but my brother has to live with this forever as well as the rest of the family. How do you cope?

I'm getting drunk now but this is making me sick.

And to boot, my dog is sick and dying. Had him since he was a baby, now he can't get up, or move much. He just lays around and cries. I can't take it.

  • What do I do? I really can't take this any longer.?

    Hi,

I've got a dilemma and need some help. I'm 55 years old and although I've looked (all over the world),

I have never had a romance of any kind with a woman that was mutual.

There have been women that I have had very deep feelings for but never had the same in return.

I look forward to going to sleep at night just to have dreams that I'm with someone I love, and who loves me back. Pathetic, I know.

I have dated several women in my lifetime and had sexual relations with a few of them but nothing more ever came of it.

At 55, women my age look ugly to me and to younger women I assume I look ugly to them.

I cannot take this any longer and would like some suggestions as to what to do.

I'm extremely bitter about the situation and cannot wait for my life to end, as I feel this is the only way out of the pain.

I've been to therapists, and such but nothing helps.

Anyway, at night I will dream of different women, and during the dream I will fall in love with them, only to be rejected every time.

After I wake up I feel so rejected and sad that I sometimes cry for a half an hour or so, and then become enraged and angry.

Needless to say, this ruins my entire day, and it happens almost every night.

I'm now to the point where I feel there is no hope at all, as I am growing older and feel cheated out of anything good that life had to offer.

I can't watch most TV or movies because there always seems to be a part of the plot in most shows that has something to do with love, and I can't go outside because I see couples together and it makes me feel terrible.

So I sit in front of my computer, sometimes read or watch the news, and sleep and eat. That is my life.

I'm not ugly, to most, but have little money as I was in a car accident in 91 that left me disabled on my left side, and am living on disability, which means I have about $25.00 left after paying rent, bills and such to live on for the month.

My question is, what should I do? Should I just take a bunch of pain pills and end it?

I'm getting closer to feeling that this is the only way out, every day. I'm getting old now and I'm tired of the agony and just don't want to be here anymore.

You can give prank answers if you want to because I'm way past any pain that anyone could possibly dish out. Thanks.

  • A dream that made me cry like a baby.?

I had a dream and it took place in a park in the 1930's. In this dream I met a girl and we walked and talked and laughed and I felt an extremely strong bond to her.

The park was full of people, young, old, and middle aged. There was even 2 dogs there. We would talk, and then she would wander off to speak to people she knew, but we would always spot each other later and hook back up.

There were a group of ladies sitting at a pavilion type structure making doilies(?)..I remember my grandmother talking about making doilies when I was a kid.

I started to have very strong feelings towards her and she towards me, but I asked her if she found me attractive and she smiled shyly and said no, and that she was engaged to get married anyway.

This didn't bother me much because we were together and I was very happy.

We had very long conversations about all kinds of things, walking and talking, and I heard a voice say, "when you wake up, all of this will fade away".

After that I became aware that I would soon wake up and bid my farewells to her.

    Then I woke up.

The thing is, after I woke up I felt such strong emotional love for her and missed her so much that I cried for a half an hour.

Even now as I type this I can still feel it.

I'm a former Marine and have seen horrible things, consider myself quite tough and never cry.

This dream was so vivid and real that I couldn't believe that I woke up and was back in my room again.

Does anyone have an explination for this? I rarely dream at all. Thanks, Thozz

  • What's the point of Yahoo answers?

Especially when you've given the correct answer and get 4-5 thumbs down?

    Seems silly.

  • How do teens and young people feel about Vietnam vets?

The reason I ask is, being a 56 year old veteran from the conflict in Vietnam all I get is disrespect, ridicule, and snide remarks from teens and such on the internet.

This hurts, as I lost many friends and brothers over there and the ones who made it home were weeping shaking wrecks of the men they used to be. Teens just don't get it nor do they care.

  • Why do atheists perceive you to be weak if you're Christian?

Seems they are eager to destroy peoples beliefs, yet I wouldn't dream of depriving them to their journey to hell. What gives?

  • Questions for atheists?

What type of government does atheistic philosophy translate into? How does it understand the relationship between man and government? What type of government structures flow from an atheistic world view? Does it merely rely on someone else's system of thought, like the assumptions of naturalistic science?

  • When you see a stranger who is physically different..?

    From you....

Do you subconsciously see him/her as a potential friend or a potential adversary?

Everyone makes snap judgments upon seeing a person and their appearance for the first time. Even unconsciously.

I noticed you're not allowed to ask or answer questions from your heart unless it fits with Yahoo's agenda. They will block you and/or give you errors. Why do you think they do this?

  • How many believe that when an Atheist is on his deathbed he will call on God?

    Just wondering.

You know the old saying, "there are no atheists in foxholes".

Do any of you believe it? And why?

This only happens "after" I have finished typing a response, which takes me away to the login page, and erases the response I just typed. Kind of bass ackwards if you ask me.
