  • Married but very lonely, any support groups for this that aren't about hooking up?

    I'm a 33 year old male, I married my wife 4 years ago and things have slowly went down hill and we've grown apart. She suffers from depression and bipolar disorder among other things and would just rather stay in the bedroom for the majority of each day, every day. She misses family holiday events and seems disinterested in pretty much everything.

    I do what I can to cheer her up and be there for her. I go in often to check on her, I take care of our son most of the time on top of working 50 hours a week. I do the majority of the house work and what not and most days, I don't mind. I know depression is hard, I know a chemical imbalance isn't anyone fault and I don't fault her for it at all. I try to be as understanding as possible....

    But I'm really lonely. We have sex once a month if we're lucky. She says she has no sex drive but I know she watches pornography so it stinks knowing she has some drive but she's just not interested in me maybe, I dunno. Anyway sex isn't even about getting off to me, I just miss sharing that bond with her. We do things sometimes and when we do, she seems to have fun. She tells me nothing is wrong and to her the way she acts is totally normal, she doesn't see how much shes slid backwards into the world of being totally anti social. Her parents have talked about it and they don't understand it either.

    Anyways, I'm pretty lonely. I work hard and when I'm not working I'm raising our son and maintaining our home. I love my wife and am not looking for anything that would break the sanctity of our marriage but I am looking to reach out to like minded people or those in similar situations, sort of like a support group in a way.

    Are there any places online that offer such things? After searching online I couldn't find anything that wasn't something along the lines of adult friend finder. I just want someone to talk to, someone who maybe understands and someone whom can be there for me and me be there for them to help them though those rough times as some times are worse then others.

    Anyways, I've prattled on long enough. Thanks for taking the time to read.

  • Nicholas Sparks Box Set??

    My wife is a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks and I did some looking and I can't seem to find any collections or box sets outside of ebay (which are used and I was wanting new). Does anyone know where I can purchase a collection of books by him that will ship to the United States?

  • Fantasy Basketball Draft Opinion Needed?

    Heres the team so far;

    Jason Kidd-PG

    Yao Ming-C

    Vince Carter-SG/SF

    Carmelo Anthony-SF

    Rasheed Wallace-PF

    This is my first league with the following setup;

    PG, SG, G, PF, SF, F, C, C, Util, Util

    Never been in a double Center league and I didn't see it was until JUST now....which is frustrating for me to say the least.

    Now I think I've had a decent draft thus far, opinions would be great on that as well, but now that I see its a double Center league I'm torn what to do. I was going to get another Guard, and was torn between;

    Luol Deng--I know he has the talent

    Tony Parker-Proven

    Richard (Rip) Hamilton-Home town favorite for me and a hell of a player in my opinion.

    But now I'm wondering if I should get my second center before I get hosed and have to wait 9 picks for my turn again. Centers I have the choice of;

    Emeka Okafor

    Ben Wallace

    Tyson Chandler

    All three have their ups and downs, I was pretty sure I needed to go with one of the Guards...input would be awesome.

  • Olds cutlass supreme overheating.?

    I recently had the head gasket replaced in my 1996 olds cutlass 3.1L coupe.

    Since then it will occasionally redline after just simple driving and I am finding that if I open the air blead valve that is above the waterpump this will cool the engine below redline and then after a bit it will go back to more normal tempatures.

    I have been suggested that there is an airlock in my system and that is causing the overheating.

    it has also been suggested that the thermostat is sticking causing it.

    And finally it was suggested that the headgasket didn't seal and that is injecting air into the system... which would be another very expensive repair job...

    which of these is most likely and what routes should I go about fixing the problem without just taking it to a shop and hoping for the best?

  • What was the sandwich from the movie Spanglish?

    In the movie Spanglish with Adam Sandler he makes a sandwich at one point that has an egg cooked over easy on it, I never did catch anything else that was on it.

    It looked really good and for some reason I've always wanted to know what it was so when I go out I can possibly look for it at a restaurant or try to make it myself.

    Thanks in advance. =)

  • Why does everyone say RIP Chris Benoit when hes nothing more now then a murder and child killer?

    Seriously, the guy is a murder and to top it all off, a child killer, he was a coward who took the cowards way out of his problems then killed himself. We're he alive he would be facing two 1st degree murder charges and be up for the death penalty.

    Yet people say RIP to the man....because he was a good wrestler. Being a good wrestler dosen't change what the man turned out to be. I don't see people going around and saying RIP to other murders on death row and telling them they'll miss them.

    Reguardless of how entertaining he is, don't people realize the man was deranged and killed himself and his family of the process of 2 or 3 days? And don't give me that roid rage crap, as roid rage doesn't last two to three days and makes you kill your wife one day while your son is in another room, then makes you the next day go into his room and kill your 7 year old son, then causes you to take your own life.

    I don't care what he USED to be, he showed who he really was with those hidius acts.

  • Thinking of moving to the Las Vegas/Paradise area in early 2008?

    Myself, my wife and two children (4years and 1year) are looking into maybe moving to the Vegas/Paradise area come tax time next year to make the move a bit more smooth money wise.

    I've vacationed there a few times, we're not much on gambling but love everything else that the region had to offer. My wife is a year from finishing her bachelors in Psychology, and as of right now, I am a stay at home father who has years of experience in retail and customer service and currently we live in an area where neither of us can peruse an education or jobs we are experienced in.

    My question has a few parts really.

    1. I was told by someone "If you live in Vegas/Paradise and aren't working...its because you don't want to work." Is the job market really that open out there?

    2. How are the public schools in Vegas/Paradise area?

    3. What areas are best for raising a family?

    Any additional information you have to offer would be nice as well. Thank you for your time.
